How do you read your dirty manga without getting caught?

two simple words. personal laptop
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort.

I lock my computer REALLY fast if it's online. Or I just go to an innocent page if she wants to know what I'm reading and just tell her my friend thought it would be cool. 😀

I usually do it when noone is here, late at night when everyone is asleep, or with the door shut because the computer is a good bit away from the door and I have time to react and close something down before they get to me.
So as long as I dont go into full own whack-off mode, I'm good.

Just because someone's head was chopped off doesn't mean they're dead. That's just silly.

I do it when nobody is home...or at night when everyone is asleep...they're just ecchi mangas I read from time to time...but could still be considered as "dirty" although I read them more for the romantic comedy than the ecchi shots
When I was younger...my parents used to keep watch over me...but they stopped doing it after some time...I've never been caught while reading ecchi...but I think my parents knew very well that I was reading/watching something"dirty"...well...maybe they finally realized that it was useless to keep watch over me...they can't stick to me all the time after all...

When I'm alone, I read my stuff, but I always have a spare, innocent tab or window open in case someone walks into the room. Or I lock myself up in my room and read it on the laptop. Than afterwards, i delete any trace of the stuff (as much to my ability). I clear the history, i delete any mangas I downloaded. You know..
It's kind of funny that I read hentai, yaoi, & yuri, but my friends think I'm so naive because i can't sit through 40-Year-Old Virgin. But then again, this is pictures vs. real people, so maybe it's plausible.

I haven't wacthed 40-year-old virgin but that plot summary alone bored me so I never will. 🤣 And I don't see such a movie has anything to do with yaoi, yuri and hentai.

No, it's just that I couldn't get through seeing the women's breasts (i'm a girl btw)...and the sex scenes. I kept looking away because I just felt like I couldn't handle them.

@daisukidesuyo
That means a lot of M or R rated movies can't be seen by you. O_O Even a lot of supposedly "classy" movies have breasts and sex scenes, for example those adpated from classic literature or art house films.

I have a laptop, but no one cares what I do on it anyway, so I can be sitting in the living room with others around me and they wouldn't even think about trying to see what I have on it.

You guys are lucky to have laptops. I actually use the same computer as my mom (except she is usually on her laptop), so I cant download stuff. I usually read it at night when everyone is asleep. If I read it during the day I usually keep 5 different tabs open (Email, MU, 2 innocent tabs and the dirty stuff) and also a second window with 3 other tabs that are all perfectly innocent. Not only do I hide that I read yaoi, yuri, and smut from my parents but also fanfiction.

I have a laptop. I've never been told to not look at dirty things (except for by my sister), I can do whatever I like; I'm not hurting anyone, and if somehow I was caught red-handed, I wouldn't care, because it's natural and fuck them if they think it's wrong. My sister, though, would probably pitch a little fit if she ever caught me reading stuff like that in her house. Although I can just bring up the fact that she does nothing to hide her porn when she has underage people in the house 🙂 Always good to have dirt on family.
For those of you that have a laptop and sleep with someone else in the room, or those of you that have to use a family computer...Try to position it a certain way so no one can see over your shoulder. Oh and make sure your computer screen doesn't reflect in a window/mirror (srsly!) 🤢
I could never read dirty stuff when I'm not in a secure environment, because I've noticed that when I do, people can just walk by and I won't even notice it! Or even sit next to me, and the next thing I know poof someone's there 😐 Although I don't care if people know I read dirty manga, I don't want the specifics known.
Make sure you're aware of anyone installing certain software (peeping toms). People are sneaky. So be careful, you don't want your internet disconnected if they find out (can happen, rly). Be sure to look deep into your files, someone else could be hiding pr0n and you'll need something to yell back when you get caught.
Beware of the freeze screen 🤣
Well, the computer I use is at the top of the house, and nobody comes in here except in the day time, so the evenings is when i read all my manga.
I prefer not to be disturbed when reading any manga, let alone the 'others' 🤣

That is where the 'switch screen off' button comes in handy. I had to do that once 🤣

You won't think of that in the midst of it, though. You'll paint the screen with toothpaste before you think about the button 😐
