I'm not but last time I checked a pedophile is someone who is attracted to prepubescent children which isn't the case in all lolicon or shotacon. After puberty your considered an ephebophile which isn't entirely illegal except for age of consent laws in your country. Puiu never said how young, and I know most men have fantasized about teens even subconsciously. By nature, a little bit after a child reaches sexual maturity the opposite sex sees them as being more fertile than someone older. It's a natural reproductive instinct. However we are rational and thinking beings who have societal norms which also vary.

Now with loli/shota, I don't agree with seeing children as sexual objects but as an artist I strongly believe that people should have the right to draw whatever they want.

You are pretty messed up too aren't you. Classify it and explain it all you want but men who have fantasys about young girls need help before they turn into actual pedophiles. Pedophillia is pedophillia whether the child be made of ink or is flesh an blood there is no difference. I think people like to give themselves the comfort of thinking that their obsession with this sort of stuff is healthy, since they're only watching pretty pixels get it on, but seriously what kind of person would want to look at children being subjected to sex acts with adults? You seem to be a master at spinning people's words aren't you luis? I think you should do some growing up first and do some research of your own before you come to conclusions about other people. or at least read other people's entire post before you start ranting.

That I assume is also petty name calling. I did not say that every adult guy/girl in the world consciously lust after children. I also did mention that we are rational beings, in comparison to animals that base their decisions on only hormones and instinct. But their is still the matter of the id and ego.

Probably I should I have been writing a lot of angry posts lately. What's gotten into me. Well I have exams in ten days and It's easier to vent a little bit of anger here than to take it out on people offline. I just get a bit nervous before exams. But I still stand by what I said about whoever it was that made that generalization and if he is having those kinds of thoughts he better try to stop it before he becomes addicted.

@Charlox - Oh and I'd rather not grow up than become another one of the sick adults that populate this freaking filthy world. This is not an angry rant here Gir this is what I think of the world as it is today-a cespool of evil.

But the topic of lolicon is quite disturbing, indeed.

First off -- I do agree with some of the posts on here. It very much depends on age. What if I were 18... and I lusted after a girl who was 17? Just because I'm legal... doesn't mean I'm a sick pervert for liking a girl who is younger than me.

Now, what about 18/16? 18/15? I think 18/15 might be pushing it... because of the fact that the girl isn't close to maturity.

So, what about 19/16? 19/17? .. would those be acceptable? I argue that as long as you aren't perverted in nature... lusting after a girl who has just matured isn't a terrible thing.

I think this is what some of the people were arguing against you, luisalirio.

Now, I understand what you're saying, too. Most men should not lust after children who are not sexually mature. Maybe even fantasizing about hentai in that direction should be some sort of social stigma. I agree. I just think it's weird... but remember: as long as it's not affecting you directly... or they're not doing anything to hurt any individual -- they should have the right to think their own thoughts.

This correlates with homosexuality. Think about it on those terms. Maybe with many people, a person who is gay will not be popular amongst them. But it seems to be society's agreement that as long as gays do not impinge on others' rights, they may do what they wish. Think about this topic for a second. Just because you feel others don't think correctly gives you no right to force them (or rather, tell them) to see a psychiatrist.

And I do agree that you're taking it out on people on forums... but chill out, man. I have finals soon, too... but taking it out on us instead of your "real life" friends doesn't give you the right to treat others like crap. Respect peoples' opinions -- even if you may disagree with them.

Mmm... but back on topic: from what I know, isn't lolicon the drawing of cute young girls or boys...? They have larger eyes and whatnot, right? I guess this is aimed at being more "cute" than others... so, if they're purposefully making these characters look "cuter," wouldn't it stand to reason that it would make people like them more?
