...Unless of course, you're talking about rural circumcision. Those are nasty! but why would you get one in the rural when you can get one at the hospital...

Going to the actual plot. Circucision DOES matter if u are in a culture where the DO prefer circucised males. But that doesnt say... if some stupid girl falls in love with a non circumcised man... and well they were pure enough to never "check" (lol even i dont belive this) She may care but will be forced to acept.

Anyway... im uncircumcised and i am pretty fine and without Both Troubles and HIV.

living in a country where every boy who reaches puberty must definitely be circumcised, I guess it does matter. many say that if a boy/guy/man is not circumcised, it is not hygienic, and local tales say that he will not grow taller (but of course, that's subjective...)

I am not going to argue with you since there should be a lot of factors considered in terms of the hygienic issue. This is actually a rather complex issue with all the cultural and religious things involved. Believe whatever you want to believe. If you prefer that, it's OK. Nobody says it's not OK to prefer something. Also there's no need to start a thread on a manga site to justify your point. Maybe a medical site is more suitable for that. I mean, people there are more suitable to discuss this issue with you.

Oooh why so angry, circumcision is not a custom where I live and I started this post because I want to see what other ppl thought about circumcision.

I don't particularly prefer circumcision and just by replying your arguing. It is a FACT that it is more hygienic and I just wanted some ppl who THOUGHT that there was no point to circumcision to see that there was.

That's why I said a medical site was more suitable for you. A lot of people there think it's a fact like you do. I am personally neutral on this since I am not one of those who have gathered enough knowledge.

You are the one who should open up your mind. Have you ever considered all the individual, lifestyle, cultural and religious factors involved in this topic? Therefore there would never be a definite answer. But those are really beyond me so I am not going to argue with you.

And I believe it's a personal choice. Parents shouldn't decide for their children unless there's a really strong medical reason (one can always consult a doctor, right?). At least I won't be such a parent. There's a huge arguement on human rights but if it's started it will be neverending.
