I just finished reading Ikoku Meiro no Croisée and thought the japanese girl character was adorable and cute. I've read other manga with similar characters so I know they exist. The personality can be any kind so long as they have adorable moments, so they can be tsundere too (maybe like Tora from toradora!). The little girl from miman renai is also a good example of the kind of adorableness I'm looking for.

all genres are fine, except I'm not looking for those shoujo where they purposefully make everything cutesy to appeal to 12 year old girls.

yep, usagi drop is one of my favorite mangas, I've also read Flat (AOGIRI Natsu), the little boy in it is really adorable too.
