I don't get why so many "otaku" dislike it. D: Personally, it was one of my favorite subjects. No thinking! Yay. And I was training my body, and keeping it healthy. What more do you want? Even if you aren't good at it, the effort you put in it is what matters.

So, when you were in school (or you still are in school), what do you think about PE?

Indifferent.
At times it was annoying
when people took it too seriously
or when the classes happened to be
very late and I would've rather gone
home than put ski boots on and
head for the snowy desolation.

PE is annoying.
I prefered spending time in the cool class.
It's freaking Israel.
You study all day and then then make you sweat like a pig.
Or better yet - they make you sweat like a pig and then study all day.

Sure, I like certain sports like swimming.
It's something I've always enjoyed but didn't have in school.
The distance jumps they had us do were nice, but very scarce in amount.

It was mostly a nuisance.

Enjoyed P.E., especially martial arts classes and gave us an excuse to play basketball in school during classes. Ballroom dancing, not so much.

Depends on the teacher though. I had a creepy one my freshman year.

I enjoyed flag football, badminton and volleyball. Hated softball and basketball, just because I was awful.

I love PE. Best class ever.

It's so different from other classes, it's like a "break from all the studying"- class for me.
Especially when we play soccer, basketball and other sports it's really fun 🙂

Oh I always looked forward to PE, unless we were doing gymnastics. I didn't like that. The only sport I hated. Netball is boring too.

Oh and althetics got worse as the years went on. Everyone expected so much of me because I'm fast. They always wanted me to do all the running events D:

But yeah, I was always a sporty girl back in the days. I haven't had a PE class for years. I don't participate in sports anymore too, just hockey, which I'm probably dropping after this season.

Such a shame really. I've lost a lot of stamina I used to have. I'm still fast though xD. I just can't run as long as I used to be able to.

I'm one of those clumsy people who always stumble or get hit by the ball during PE lessons, but I enjoyed playing volleyball or basketball because it was fun, although I was terrible at it. But when I went to high school my new PE teacher turned out to be a sadistic, rude man who was shouting offensive words etc. After the first lesson (he made us run in circles for two hours) I quit.

Ahaha, me too. I'm horrible at sports but I still like playing it. It's fun. 😀

But like MasamiAkane said, it depends on the teacher. I've heard of some teachers who are sadistic and mean, but fortunately, I've never had a teacher like that. 😎

i liked gym class until you had to team up with a bunch of idiots. If we were given a choice, i usually ran the track or played soccer with some friends, stayed away from the basketball idiots inside.

It's great. At least some activities to get away from sitting all day listening to a teacher yakking away. I got to learn different types of sports too, so a gain in physical 'education' there.
