In elementary school I hated doing all the sit ups, pull ups, push ups, etc. Oh and the long distance running. Blah. But the activities got better going through MS, HS, and college.

It was only required for me first through fifth grade, and when I was little I didn't care.

I love it. Its a break from all the studying thing...
The teacher will let us choose our favourite sports or game. Mostly we will play volleyball.
And sometimes we juz play around. Its fun...... 😃 😃

I don't hate or love Phys Ed. It mostly depends on what we're doing, whether it's a good or bad day, and then the teacher. This latest school year I enjoyed PE because of my teacher, since the teacher before that was crap.
I still try my best, though. I just have a certain amount of years of school left.

I really hate it because I'm bad at it. And I'm the worst of my class too 🤣
Say, in many manga, PE teachers are described as perverts. What do you think?

Lets just say I started taking Sports Medicine (a class that counts as P.E. credit at my school) as soon as possible.

I love sports but I really disliked PE.
If you are not a teamplayer and rather do your own thing PE is very annoying. As I grew older and discovered my love for long dinstance running and athletics in general, PE changed as well and we didn't have to play volleyball all the time but could practice running, throwing, jumping and so forth during summer.
Winter was one endless game again, though...
In college, you (thankfully) are responsible for your own health and now I can do as much sports allone (!) as I want to.
Went to a small school, so when we played games it was always Jocks vs. Kids who suck.....not hard to figure out who won. I was a kid who sucked. Then we would have these fitness tests every couple of months......that sucked even more. The only good thing about gym class was watching the girls in their gym clothes....that made everything alright.

I enjoyed PE a lot for the most part. My PE teacher was terrible at swimming though and I remember one time I ended up having to teach half the class how to swim because I was the only student in the class with a lifeguarding and instructors certification. He stood on the deck and let all the kids who could swim play waterpolo in the deep end while I was stuck teaching the non-swimmers in the shallow end. Oh well, I got a perfect grade out of it and I managed to get a group of guys who initially couldn't swim at all to a basic level of competence where they could swim a length or two of the pool without drowning.

i'm still in school - 11th grade(high school/secondary school(depends on where you live)) and i like PE...in fact i almost love it...^^
but it's not as much as i love PE as some sports in particular: football, figure-skating, snowboarding, swimming, hiking, martial arts and so on...now that's what i love and do... 🙂
i may be an otaku (yea wright, i'm a damn real otaku^^)but i still love to exercise... 🙂

I didn't like it, but the main reason was.... I've got zero talent for sport.
When we needed to run I was always on the back, even behind the people that had the double of my weight.
Or when I needed to be the keeper at soccer, I could only stop one ball, it was even from a professional player. If you say, be happy that you stopped a ball from a professional with his hard pass, forgot about it, my balls ended up flat.... 😔

I'm like Rouzmary, in Junior year. at my school you only have to take 1 year of PE, I would keep taking PE classes but I don't have room in my schedule.
Swimming is my favorite exercise but my school doesn't teach it 😢
By the way, a train robbery means... come to the destination by train, then commit a robbery... then jump on a train and run. Or something like that, right?

so where I'm from PE is required for all three years of middle school and 1 semester of high school. i absolutely HATED it. i hate sports. i'm not athletic and i think they're boring so i don't watch them either. PE would always be my lowest grade on my report card because i would refuse to change into my PE clothes (they don't allow you to participate if you don't change). i only participated enough to pass the class, usually with a C because i would get in trouble if i got a D.
