Sakura didn't stop him last time, and Yamato can't this time because Naruto don't have the necklace. so, he will have to gain control on his own or lose to Pain.

I was a bit disappointed that naruto didn't vaporize pein. I mean with that much chakra he should be able to do so, its sorta incomprehensible that pein can still run. I thought naruto's speed was greater then his, or maybe the skeleton slowed him down a bit.

I am glad Hinata is still alive, though I pretty much thought that she was alive after closely examining 437. The sword stabbed the ground and not hinata, or maybe it stabbed non vital part of her body. Though the part about naruto healing hinata with fox's chakra was false. Thinking about it, it wouldn't make any sense if it did.

All in all, a good read. Can't wait for next week.

Well, since Hinata survived, NarutoxHinata is a possibility. Otherwise it will be really sad if Naruto turns her down and ends up with Sakura, that would mean her near death was in vain(romance wise). Even though I am a fan of NarutoxSakura... well we can't always get what we want.

Hm... it makes me wonder, if he went 6 tails over Hinata, how far will he transform if something happens to sakura or sasuke in front of his eyes?

As for Naruto dying, that remains to be seen. He might die for couple of chapters, provided that pain's technique works.

What I wonder is who will rescue him if he is captured by akatsuki? So far he is the strongest character, in my opinion. No one could stand up to pain's attack at close range but he managed to even send back the attack. Not to mention that he destroyed couple of Pain's bodies.

pain will be totally drained after his new jutsu, just like destroying the city wiped him out, and his human body seems pretty f****d so regardless if naruto falls konoha should be safe for the moment. in other words naruto won't fall he'll use jiraiya's key and fulfill his destiny as the chosen one as that is what this fight is all about.
