Well, there is really nothing more to tell. All that is left is a fight with sasuke, root, and the rest of akatsuki. I think 100+ chapters should be more then enough to tell it.

Sure, if it was another manga, maybe. But this is Naruto, a manga that does god-knows-how-many chapters per fight. Or did you forget the torture that was Sakura's fight with Sasori?

For sure the fight with Pain won't be finishing any time soon. Ino & company haven't even made it to the tower where Pain's real body is and I doubt that Naruto will defeat him as the kyuubi. There's going to be some big twist there for sure. So no way would Kishimoto be able to finish things with Pain, defeat Root, defeat Akatsuki, defeat Madara, defeat Kabuto, AND defeat Sasuke in 100+ chapters. Especially given how much build-up there's been to a lot of those fights. (If the fight with Sasuke at the Valley of the End took a ton of chapters pre-timeskip, you can only imagine how many chapters it'll take now...) 🤢

Perhaps we might be looking at another Hajime no ippo?

Its like, after so many chapters of no plot dev, its all being jammed into these 50.

Epic plot twist with his father and all...and this sudden shounen showdown to the death helps me appreciate the manga a little more now. But this leads me to say that the end is coming 😐 whether or not we can do anything about it
