And you know, I really could see some of the original 9 Genin dying, just to through some twists in the plot.

What's with everyone wanting Naruto to die? He's the only truly deep character. Everyone else is just a tool to progress either the plot or Naruto himself.

Sasuke needs to die. I don't know what else to say. He's just horrible. Chances are he won't die since Kishimoto has a man crush on him and he has set up the plot to make Naruto refuse to kill him. But I'm here hoping.

I'm starting to jump on the "kill Sakura" bandwagon. I wanted her to end up with Naruto, but that recent incident was cheap. I'm not rooting for her death like I am Sasuke, but if it happens, I won't be sad. Plus, if Sasuke kills her, that might just be enough to make Naruto kill him.

The vast majority of them should have died a long time ago. It's a shorter to list the onesz I don't want to die so here are those I want to live

Naruto (though he does need to adapt his philosophy on life. How can someone who has been so isolated and rejected all his life still give a crap about others? Irritating as he can be though he is the only reason I still read this manga)

Shikamaru (for being the only interesting and smart supporting character. Too many of Naruto's generation seemingly rush into kamikaze fights without much of a battle plan and then go into shock when their one and only method of attack fails. At least Shikamaru shows intelligence, patience and analytical skills. The only hope for that generation.)

Kakaishi (for being kinda cool)

Sai (for actually killing others and not being idealistic.)

Sasuke (I admire him for being the only one who doesn't want to live in peace. I mean they're essentially trained killers and yet have an adversion to killing, anyone else seeing something wrong with that?)

Madara/Tobi (For fuelling Sasuke's desire)

Pretty much everyone else can drop dead as far as I'm concerned.

The pen is mightier than the sword...and considerably easier to write with.

I vote Naruto.

Sorry guys, but i started to feel that naruto's obsession toward sasuke could make this series to be categorized in shounen ai section 😔
