The new poll's slightly ambiguous, but oh well. Interpret it however you like. It was suggested by our member icassop.

If you're wondering, for instance, lots of people say that Ichigo 100% had a bad ending, but would you still read it regardless? (I personally liked it though, so screw you guys.)

You can discuss this poll on our forums here:

If you wish to suggest poll ideas, go ahead and do so here:

Previous Poll Results:
Question: Been to Disneyland/Disney World or any of their other resorts before (anywhere in the world)?
Choices:
Yes - votes: 4924 (47.8%)
Nope, and I don't wanna - votes: 2875 (27.9%)
No, but I want to - votes: 2493 (24.2%)
There were 10292 total votes.
The poll ended: October 3rd 2009

That's a decent amount of people that have been to Disneyland or any of the other related places! (By the way, I loved the Halloween themed fireworks for Disneyland when I went last weekend)

It honestly depends how good the manga is and what you call 'good'. If the story overall is very good, with beautiful artwork and good character developement, I don't see any reason why I should not read it.

For example, many people cursed the ending of Death Note, though to be honest I liked it and thought that's the only appropiate ending. Same with After School Nightmare... (is my favourite ending though) :/

For me, a 'bad' ending is something predictable and very cliché or utterly confusing and not story-related. But I guess I've read many of those endings (especially since I read Shoujo a lot) and I still read stuff with 'bad' ending...

Oh, and on another note. I feel people shouldn't judge a book/ manga by it's ending but simply how they felt as they read it.

I'm like a moth to a flame. I may try to avoid it if I know it has a bad ending but eventually, I'll have nothing else to read and I'd pick it up and read it anyway. Then again, in the case of a series that is already finished, I'd likely skip to the end after a volume or so just to see how bad it really is.

I think you would have to avoid a lot of series...

Oh boy. I know Brother x Brother have the worst ending I could imagine for that serie but I'm still reading. And yes, is the kind of ending that fits in the description of "something predictable and very cliché or utterly confusing and not story-related." The author destroyed the original plot, so sad.

You know, i didn't know how to express myself and when I was thinking about it I read your reply and it could have been my reply too...even the things related to the ending of DN and After School Nightmare.
And you have a point, it's kind of difficult to find a shougo manga with a fine ending.
Anyway, I voted "no" but it really depends if I really enjoy reading a series..I mean, if the complete series sucked and I know that it is not to get any better even when it ends, then I think I wouldn't read it.

As long as the content of the manga is good overall, I'll read it. It might be (very) disappointing to have a bad ending (School Rumble anyone?), but still I won't regret all the fun times I had reading it till then.

Yes is my vote for this.
I think this question only apply on those series that you are following, and by that those series must be very interesting, some spoilers tell you the ending isnt good, wont stop you from keep reading it.
Another thing is what is a "bad ending"?
And the last thing is "Would you reread it after you finished it and find out the ending is not of you liking?"

if you dont mind that a minor character got the guy in the end and the main girl didn't get the guy, you wont have an issue with it. i personally didnt like it but i wouldnt say it was bad, i kind of liked the fact that i didn't expect the ending. i think a better example would be Mx0 because no one in their right mind would like that ending. i loved the series but i almost regretted finishing it, i would have rather just not read the ending and continued believing that it would go on as is

I liked Ichigo 100%'s ending. I was rooting for that girl all alon.
Anyway I voted yes, but it depends on what the sucky ending is, and how much I'm told. If I'm told it sucks but I'm not given the details I'll probably read it anyway. If I'm told the details and it doesn't sound so bad I'll still read it anyway. It has to be really, really bad for me not to bother. For example if the other girl had gotten Junpei in Ichigo 100%..........

she wasn't the main girl, she dissapeared from the manga for a quarter of the manga than came while toujou was there the whole time, Toujou was the main heroine and nishishima was a secondary girl
