Sai's been out of a job. He's hardly there now.

Sai is like the most underused character. He hasn't done anything cool since Sasuke told him, "that was the right way to block my attack."

He was in Root and Anbu though. Anbu is like the elite of elite ninja and Root is like the hardcore faction in Anbu. He served a good purpose and was pretty interesting when they first bought him in, but after encountering Sasuke he's pretty much been ignored.

Sasuke didn't want justice, he wanted revenge. There's a big difference. When you talk about justice, you're talking about doing something for the better of mankind. It was obvious from the beginning that he wasn't going after Itachi to help mankind, but he was going after him to settle a personal vendetta. To quote Confucius, "When you set out on a journey of revenge, dig two graves." His case is the epitome of what happens when you base your life solely on revenge. He had a good life. He could have stayed with Konoha, probably married Sakura, and he would have become a powerful ninja (barring an untimely death). But he didn't care about that, he wanted power, and he wanted it now. if he would have stayed with Konoha, he would have become strong, it just would have taken longer. But he didn't want that. He wanted the quick fix, and was willing to do anything to obtain that power.

When you base your life solely on revenge, you miss all the good things. I'm not saying Sasuke should have forgiven Itachi for what he did (before he found out the truth), but he would definitely have been better off leaving it as it is. That's why I don't like Sasuke. I don't know if I can call him evil (at least not in the Orochimaru sense), but people who don't care about anything but revenge aren't good people either. If anything, Naruto would do Sasuke a favor by putting him out of his misery.

What exactly would you do if you are a little kid who just saw the murderer of your whole family in front of you...your loving older brother. Would you NOT want revenge? Would you simply shrug it off as it couldn't be helped? I think not. I would want revenge. And the only reason he wanted power and quick was because he wanted to hurry up and get his revenge, he felt that that's why he was left alive. To kill Itachi. That was what was embedded into his little kid brain, to kill Itachi. For that reason, and that reason solely, did he go to Orochimaru. If he was to stay in Konoha, it would take forever for him to actually be strong enough. Look at the level of shinobi at Konoha, not that high imo, the really really strong ones had strong teachers, the rest can't even be compared, so I understand why he left to go elsewhere. And he never planned to give up his body either. He tried to get away from Orochimaru didn't he? And then when he finally met up with Itachi, he got his fight.

Itachi dies. He couldn't help that he didn't know what was really going on with Itachi and the Elders, so he finished his life long goal and got his revenge, though that death is unforunate.

Also, Kakashi knew what was going to happen to Sasuke if he were to go through with this (perhaps from experience?), and he tried to tell him this, but Sasuke threw it back at his face. He got his revenge already, but he saw that it didn't lead to anything but more pain. So what does he do? He sets out on a new journey of revenge. The difference is that this one will probably cause the deaths of many other innocent bystanders if he goes through with it. You would think that after he saw how terrible revenge can be that he would wise up and try to change his life, but no, he just wants more revenge. What's next? Then have someone stop him. He doesn't need to die to wake up. That's Naruto's job, to stop Sasuke from going even more wrong, Sasuke's like his "brother," so he shouldn't kill him, Sasuke is already starting to see it already though, like in this chapter, he had a flashback of his team. You can't expect a person to change so quickly.

i agree with a majority of what sandman is saying. the only thing though is i disagree with the killing him part. i think it's best to just let him live with the decisions he's made and make him wise up from it. besides it's not in Naruto's nature to just up and kill someone who was like family to him anyway.

he'll probably come up with a new rasengan that'll cost him an arm and a leg to use. it was on page 15-16, he had that look on his face like he has a new kamikaze move.

well somewhere around the chapter of Jiraya infiltrating Pain's HQ, it was said the seal of Naruto was part of an incomplete jutsu (Jiraya even told a frog to give something to Naruto at the right moment, probably the solution or the teaching on how to draw the full power of the kyuubi), so i think that when hell learn how to use it properly/at full power, hell become more powerful than Killerbee (and less a dope, waiting for an amaterasu to hit him "in da face"...)

Anyway, for now Naruto is just the same old mass-brawler/occasionally bomber(whose rasengan cant kill anyone even on direct impact BUT digs craters...inconsistence or full metal abs? 🤣 )

That's not true.

I remember after one of Konoha's captains was killed (i think his name was asuma) he used the new rasengan that he developed and killed his opponent.

As for all the rest, you are right. I think that he will use the kyuubi chakra in the future or else, at least that's what i think, someone should kill yamato and his big mouth... Why the hell did he tell naruto to stop using it? 😔

@Li7hium: cmon he used the shuriken rasengan once (or twice), then, as usual, they (sakura in this case) told him to stop cause itd hurt him beyond healing....so it cant be counted as regular jutsu. Thus hell continue to be the mass brawler-bomberman. 🤣

And iirc he didnt kill his opponent (or am i wrong? dont remember clearly, but someone said he destroyed ALMOST all hearts, not all: ill take it for the truth, dont want to check back 😛 )
