Does Manga/Anime Effect Your Diet?

I have no idea, I think it's more the spices than the meat (or lack of) that differentiate Indian and Japanese curry. The sauce is different too, I think - thicker and more like gravy in Japanese curry, thinner in Indian. I'm certainly not a curry expert, though!

Heh... Well Japanese curry is certainly adapted from Indian curry, no one's claiming that curry is native to Japan! It's just that the Japanese version has become pretty different from the Indian version by now. Sort of like American pizza and Italian pizza - they may have started out the same but they're quite different by now. 😃

1 thing about curry is that everyone makes it different so you really cant defrientiet between japanese and indian curry. the only thing different is the way we eat curry. indians when eating curry mash it together with the rice and then eat it while the japenese people tend to just scoop a bit of curry and rice with a spoon and mix in their mouth while chewing.

I'm guessing because all the people in the mangas are enjoying it so much that we want to try them ourselves? Manga/anime only affects my diet in that it makes me want to try new things, but most of the food already listed I already eat...mostly because I'm asian 😛 I tried natto because of manga/anime...and I had the same reaction that Vorg from Hajime no Ippo had... ugh 🤢

Fairy Tail makes me want to eat fire.
Also, where can I get devil's gum-gum fruit? I would like to eat that too.
If I had an antenna, I would turn people into Chocolate and eat them to get their powers.
Does anyone eat Curry with a whole turtle inside (Curry of life arc from Naruto anime fillers)?

a few days ago i read a manga with alot of cakes in it. i starved for sweets for hours later. ended up eating sugar.
other than that, it doesnt affect me at all... my mom is an asian food freak, and after all the things she made for me (rare event, actually), i cant really fall in love with such food. it makes me feel bad.

i think it doesn't really change our taste, but just makes us explore the variety of food out there that we normally wouldn't try, and then we realize that, well, it actually taste good. food from other cultures usually are good (else why would they eat it) but we're just too conservative to try them out most of time due to looks and smell and content...etc.
but then again, i'm asian, i eat everything...>_>
