There is no anime but there IS a drama named "MARS" based on this story. Personally I thought that if you like this manga you have to see it because it's really well done and adapted for all of the manga.

Well, I watched it. They didn't change much, so the storyline was left practically untouched. I really liked the guy who played Mars - he was exactly how I imagined him. And damn handsome!
The girl...uh...just as passive and dense as in the manga.
The opening song was great, the rest of the OST was not so good but still worth checking out.

And the guy had a great hairdresser. I just loved his hair-do!
But to be honest, the heroine pissed me off so much that I couldn't force myself to watch the whole drama :/. I'll probably do that if I won't have anything else to do, yeah.

"Zero (Ling)" by Alan Kuo. I'm melting.

Loved the open. song. Drama was OK. Not great, but watchable, especially if you like me liked the manga. Main guy really good loking and he was also on the Taiwanese adaptation of Hana Dori Yango... don't remember what they called it... something with meteor on it... Ha, Meteor Garden... I think...

Yeah, it was Meteor Garden. And some other dramas, but Mars is the only one worth mentioning. He was perfect for this role.

yup....vic is an epiphany of perfection! the chick is so-so...don't like her much....to plain to be kira....the drama sticks pretty well to the manga, but acting's not that great....the manga is still much more superior in every way

I appreciate the series tries hard not to change anything majorly from the manga, and they did well at that.
My only minor problem with it is the leading lady was too shy. I actually love the leading lady's other series and movies. But I think in this series, I couldn't read anything from "Kira's" character at all. In the manga, of course, you can read their thoughts. We, as the readers, know what is in their head, so Kira in the manga, you can understand why she does what she does and why she feels the way she feels. The one in the series, her character gave off a mysterious kinda vibe, you won't really know what shes thinking or stuff like compared with the male character.
But the series isnt disappointing at all, so i wont really compare it to that certain level with the manga.
