Here on my country there are few manga (most shounen), so I probably wouldn't read near 10% of what I've read until today...

I would continue watching anime and buy two series I'm purchasing right now.
and, yeah, my manga-list will definitely experience some visible reduction in numbers. especially seinen part, because we almost have no titles of this genre printed.
or, maybe, maintain my Japanese even more and begin to read more manga in the original. 😎

If there are still fansubs, I guess I'd go back to just watching anime. There are a small number of series like Claymore where I'm so invested into it I would be willing to wait and pay for the English volumes in order to continue.

[u]......honestly, i wouldn't have any manga on my book shelf except for two volumes of inuyasha.
If there were no scanlations, i would have lost intrest in manga a long time ago because the series that were most popular were the silly-boy-game card-action figure targeted ones like yugioh and beyblades
🤢 ... god , i can't even stand to watch those! without manga scanlations...................................... 😲 i'd be a really sad person 😢

Wouldn't read manga.
I would have no way of knowing which manga were actually good and worth paying ridiculous amounts of money for. And I simply don't like -most- official translations I've seen.
I suppose if I got really desperate I'd continue learning Japanese.

Most shoujo and BLs released here are very cliché... At least Shoujo Kakumei Utena and Paradise Kiss are released here.

Well, if there are no scanations, I would continue to buy manga, of course.....no worries. Or get some manga raws from the internet.
I read so much mangas, I'm too lazy to watch anime! 😛 😛 😛

I wouldn't have ever started reading manga, since I first discovered it when my twin sister was reading scanalations of Naruto online since she couldn't afford the actual manga.
