i have 2 160 gig HD's, and like 8 series up to current release is like 2.1 gigs, plus the 100+ episodes of anime i have, only one of my HD's is over halfway full my other one hasnt been touched ^^ plus i got all meh programmyz like winamp and my music which is like 10 gigs in itself :/ and WoW and FFXI.... hmmm the list keeps getting bigger, my friends dont know how i keep track of all my crap ^^
one actually got lost trying to look for my D.Gray-man manga ^_^
i have a good memory so i usually remember what chapter or volume im on, and i make it a habit to finish full volumes before going to bed... i was in the middle of volume 3 of mahou sensei negima last night and i had to go to bed so i just stayed up and finished reading it..... the notepad thing is a good idea for those who arent as organized as say... an accountant.. not me, i am by no means organized.... all my crap is sprawled between my DDL folder my IRC folder and my torrent folder :/ except manga... that i put in an organized folder because after 2-3 volumes it can get hellish
anyone think im rambling like a maniac? well... sorry ;_; im just energetic today for some reason

i have a nifty folder on my desktop called "Manga" and in that folder i have different folders seperating the different series i have, and in those folders i have them seperated into volumes then i have them seperated into chapters....
still it may seem hard for me to keep track that way, but i try to finish at the end of a volume then i keep em for later enjoyment
O_O
i do the same.. except i have a folder for things i'm done reading and things i'm currently reading ^^; or well.. something like that..

picwalker (my manga viewer) does that automatically. most pic viewers do that too so i'd seem like a lot of work to not use one.
E:\Manga Series[name of manga][volume number]
I just look at the latest downloaded chapter. I also have a .doc where I keep track of manga to be scanlated but in volume form. Completed manga are also there, just in case.

i basically just copy/backup all the manga i have and put them in a external hd of its own. Afterward i just delete them after i read them on my comp.

I have two folders. One for any recent downloads that I have read or need to read and another folder for everything else that is divided into series. And once in a while ill move those that is in the recent download folder that I have read and move them into the big archive folder and then ill usually burn the completed series or delete them if I have the actual book.

I have 2 folders, 1 read and 1 manga. the read one is basically all the manga i unzipped so i can read and i put the zipped file in its respective directory in the manga folder.
also to keep track of all the manga i have i have a notebook where i log the mangas i have and anime, dvds and now asian dramas lol. i used to have an access database, but it accidently got deleted, i'm redoing it, but it takes a while...soon i'll make an OST one too 😀

The concept behind my folders is based on the fact that my whole anime/manga-related directory is used as an FTP.
So I kinda have to keep it all in one place and preferably archived (for easier/faster downloads).
Anyway, it's four folders with different manga, plus a separate folder with Clamp's works and a folder for US comics.
I keep it mostly for myself, though, since most of my possible FTP-visitors don't need English scanlations and/or they don't like manga itself...
And that sucks =__=

I use sticky notes(The computer program one) it quite useful for mangas that catch my interest but aren't my favorites but for my favorites mangas I just remember them.
Oh, are you using a PC? I tried to install this program on Windows XP but the website I needed in order to use it on a PC was down. So then I went back to using Notepad. 🙁

Mostly, I use my memory to keep track what I have read so far. If it fails, I just re-read them >_>
And I use Ms.Access to keep track what manga I haven't bought or rented.

I am up with the memory crowd. I keep current manga in the manga file I have (usually around 70- 100 tittles) because sometimes I like to reread each time I get a new chapter just to refresh my memory. Then when I finish one I make the tough decision of whether to keep it or delete it. If I delete it, its up for grabs again if I can't remember it. I don't mind rereading something I can't remember.

yup, memory ftw, quick, efficient, works about 70% of the time, lol. I actually like re-reading stuff though, just to get the feel of what's happening again.

What memory are you talking about?
Flash?
HDD?
NTFS?
Fat32?
Don't tell me you do it with the help of that retarded lump of grey matter in your cranium o_O
It failed to do me any decent memorization service even once. Stupid useless pissashit.
