I use this site and my own hand-written list. I keep my list with my other lists of the anime I'm watching, the manga I buy and in what week, and the manga that I expect to buy from the releases of each month. Sometimes I can be a bit of a perfectionist 😀
I just like to keep track of it all. Lists=<3 (at least the majority of mine 😀 )

Around a year or two ago, because I kept switching back and forth between different manga, so I wouldn't get lost or confused, I created a WordPad document. I still update it frequently.

I list all manga I've read, and categorize in 2 categories: completed, and in progress.

After each manga, I write how many volumes I've read of that manga. That's why whenever I read manga, I try to read by volumes, and not chapters.

Monkey Bump~ (=O*-*)=O

I never can! TT__TT
I have 2305 series in total in all my lists, and that's only a small portion of everything I have ever read. I used to write it down on my phone (had her for 5 years) but she died on me so I lost all data...had more that 5k titles...sniff

Now I just use the lists on this site, and when I find a series that I know I have already read I toss it in a list...O_O

...keeping track of what I had read and what I was reading is why I signed up for MU. I love love love the lists.

Even with the list feature, I check the series info pages. I thought about exporting my lists and adding some more info using some program, but I always end up forgetting about that. 🤣
