Ooooh, that's why my professor was talking like that at the beginning of the class! Geez, he always acts weird, so I thought it was just one of his quirks! 🤣

I first became aware of it a while ago, but I've never really taken part in it.

🙂 Last year, LiveJournal put little eyepatches over the userinfo icons and used phrases such as 'update the captain's log' instead of 'update journal.' It was really awesome, but it seems as though they aren't doing it this year.

I made it a point to talk and run like a ninja today because Pirate are stupid and Ninjas kick all that azz.

I have a friend on another site that insisted we all talk like pirates - he really likes both pirates and ninja. He's also a Mythbusters fan if that means anything.

I go away and suddenly the spammers are the mods. Okay, I can adjust to that, but... Gorath?! And what's up with Mam's not being the top poster?
