I didn't cry in Corpse Bride. o.o I didn't even think it was that tragic. Not saying that I don't like it though, I absolutely loooove it (and all other Tim Burton movies).

Let's see... what movie made me cry... the only one that I can recall is Tarzan. I cried when I watched it for the first time when I was six years old.

Saving Private Ryan
Slumdog Millionaire
Marley and Me

...and there's way more I at least leaked a tear for, but I don't remember them...

Marley and Me was particularly sad for me because I watched it not too long after a dog of mine had died...but usually for me, I tend to cry more at the beautiful memory or well-written epiphany scene than anything else. If the writing or acting is bad, I tend not to cry no matter how sad the event is. And I've cried for joy too, but only for the really, really, good movies.

Oh, and any movie ever where you had to watch a parent lose their child to death. That breaks my heart.

The Boy in the Striped Pajamas

D8 That is one of the saddest movies I've EVER watched. Actually I think it is. I've NEVER teared up over a movie. Maybe I have a soft spot for children? I don't know. If you haven't seen it, go watch it. Tear-worthy. 😢

No movie ever made me cry but I got a bit sad watching An American Crime, Pan's Labyrinth, Interview w/ the vampire, My Girl, Edward Scissorhands, The Virgin Suicides, and American History X. Especially An American Crime since it's based on a true story. I still hate seeing the ending to Edward Scissorhands and Interview w/ the Vampire.

The Lion King.

The Mufasa scene gets me Every. Single. Time.
I've watched it over 100 times and I don't think there has been one time where at least one tear hasn't escaped from watching that scene 🤣
