Yes, megatokyo is still going. Just celebrated it's ten years online a few months back, and it's updates are even more sporadic. We maybe get three or four strips a month now.

An accident leads to a whole reincarnation memory and turns out the neighbor's child is related to the main protagonist in the past. The main protagonist herself was a beautiful and prized ESP skill owner but she's not the delicate type either. The way she and he got together in the past was somewhat untypical as well. I can ramble on and on about how good this manga is but I don't know if you like it or not but give it a try. A couple of first volumes aren't that interesting but once the reincarnation thingy started to unfold.... man.... that's a gem!

I forgot to mention it before but tokyo crazy paradise definitely fits. Its a female lead but she is the most bamf person to exist except maybe one awesome bodygaurd(you will like him, and love him after the flashback, no avoiding it). Its a cute romance, but not conventional, real competition for tthe female and the male in ways that look much more fitting. And it has a lighthearted story overlayed with the very serious yakuza story, blood, violence, and death do exist in this shoujo.

skip beat by the same author isn't as awesome about it or finished, but its good and the lead isn't cliche... also very funny
