Feh... I always thought Fruits Basket was WAY over rated. It's the only reason why I hate FB because it's too damn popular.

You can't hate a series just because of its popularity. =/ This is why I dislike Naruto/Bleach haters - they've never read the series themselves. Ironically, I'm also a Naruto/Bleach hater [ew @ both of those - One Piece is better~] but I dislike people who bash on mangas on how popular they are.

Just hate it because of it's content.

I also hate Fruits Basket. I read it thinking "oh, must be good". I was disappointed. I read the first 5 volumes, nothing special. But I kept reading, thinking it MUST get better to have so much love. I read to Volume 8, where the anime ends. Um- that was it? o_O Nothing special. Why was the anime so popular if the story until there was so shitty? Saint Tohru PISSED me off. No human like that exists. Too unrealistic. Like, wow. I wanted to kill her. I wanted her to SCREAM AND YELL. Not FORGIVE. Yell "NO, FUCK YOU" instead of forgiving them. DJGHJDGDDGD assplodes

VK is also overrated. =/ Nothing special about it. Yuki is falling into the "typical heroine" more and more... ugh. I did the same thing as I did with Furuba... read cause I thought it got better. Lies. I was bored. The artwork is all that makes it good. =/

Angel Sanctuary though... man, I love that. n.n Along with Skip Beat. No gay-ass heroine to go with it. I love Yoshiki Nakamura's series. TCP is amazing.

People voting Vampire Knight and Fruits Basket have obviously not read the greater ones in this poll, and are completely biased.

It's just like kiddies with Naruto. And the way I was with Inuyasha. I watched Inuyasha as a kid, thinking "HODAMN AMAZING" but when I watched superior & better animes... it really showed how bad Inuyasha really was.

Same case here. So instead of voting, why don't you abstain and go read some better series? It's an insult to those better series out there.

Hehe, Basara would be a nice addition to the poll, but really, I doubt it could compete with the likes of Ouran or VK.

I voted Ouran High School Host Club because it's one of the few series that I could read over and over again.

VK is going to get its votes, so it didn't need my help.

Angel Sanctuary is wonderful, but my preference would run to OHSHC simply because the main story line for Angel Sanctuary got confusing towards the end. She gets kudos for character development, but the world-building aspect had its flaws.

Skip Beat! was also hard to vote against because I love this manga and I adored TCP, but I still have to give the edge to Ouran. Skip Beat!'s recent chapters have been pretty slow and the development between Kyoko and Ren has been snail pace slow.

I've read probably eight volumes of Fruits Basket but it's never held enough of my attention to get me to read more.

Never started to read Lovely Complex and don't really have the desire to, though I'm familiar with the title.

Ouran High School Host Club gets my vote!!

Angel Sanctuary for me. I know it's old and not really the funny type like Lovely Complex or Ouran that I normally like but Angel Sanctuary is the first manga I fell in love with. I dunno if I would today know what manga means, if Angel Sanctuary didn't cross my way.

I voted for Ouran High School Host Club. Dubby basically said what I would have about the others.
