I really am not a "badass" like he said but it's really amusing to know that he said that.

Well, I think it was cool, about the pants. 😃 When admiration comes surprisingly and sincere, why not - it's fun.

I just read an interview with a popular singer in the local newspaper. They asked her about her fans and she told one of the things she wouldn't forget was a fan who expressed his admiration saying: "You, gal, with this voice of a drunkard... Every time I hear you sing, I cry". (Her voice resembles to Bonny Taylor's). She took it well and she still remembers it, it was quite a unique compliment though not the most sophisticated on earth. 🤣

When my friend pulled me aside while we were cooking and told me that I was her best friend. She said that I mean a whole lot to her and that she is thinking of me always. It made me cry into the bread dough but it stuck with me. It's been more then a year since then, and we have both moved to different states for college, but it was a wonderful day. I still miss her.

Second best was when my 11th grade English teacher told me "You are smarter than you think you are, you read an entire novel in a few hours, you get 100% on every paper you turn in, you have never studied for a test and never gotten under a 95% in my class. Don't sell yourself short just because you aren't good with numbers. Make a career on English not math and you'll be amazing!"

It was after I was really bummed about failing a math test and cried. Of course you can't really get a career based around English that pays well, and I'm dismal at science, art, and anything physical in addition to being awful at math, but he thought I was good at something, so that made me happy.
