I'm a huge tomboy. >_> Was a bigger tomboy 2 years ago.

I wore loose pants and my brother's baggy sweaters. My hair was short and although I have a curvy and feminine body, it was always hidden in my clothes. I had a small chest then (still do unfortunately... Sad considering every female in my mom and dad's side have C-Ds xD) so it didn't show. However, I only ONCE got confused for a guy. And the guy simply asked (not directly) if I was a girl or a boy (so he wasn't 100% sure).

Looking back at pictures, it amazes me as to why people didn't mistake my gender. XD Not that I WANTED that...

YES I ALREADY POSTED HERE BEFORE >[

My avi's too girly for me to be confused as a guy. -.- Didn't want it to be that girly XDD

Yes, I'm pretty androgynous. I have short hair and a pretty unisex clothing style, so most of the time I either look like a girly boy or a boyish girl.

Once. A waiter at a restaurant saw me from the back and thought i was a girl. I had longish hair then. I had it cut the next day.

Never been mistaken for the opposite gender. I have been mistaken for caucasian, however. I'm not digging the (atleast by me anyway) percieved stereotype.

No... but I mistook someone once.
Was during camp, just showered and saw this "guy" coming into the girl's toilet. So ofcourse I told "him" off but then "he" said "he" was a girl... And I realised it was true.
Most embarassing moment of my life.
I seriously wanted to go and crawl under a rock.
But in the end I just said "Oh, sorry bout that" and left the toilet.
I still see her now and then in school 🙁

Its never happened to me in real live or online even when I use unisex nicknames. Its odd really because I have always been such a tomboy but everyone assumes Im a girl. I have a friend who is always being called a girl online because he is gay and talks very girly and the guys hit on him and he is always like "sure as long as your ok im a guy". He has long pretty hair too so from behind he looks like a girl but he has a pretty handsome manly face.

I don't think I ever have been. Someone may have accidentally done it before from behind because I wear girl's jeans...

I wanted to be mistaken for the opposite gender...

Me: I´m a boy!!!! (I think of me like hermaphrodite gender and because of this I like to make jokes of what is really my gender even thought that I know that I´m a girl but I like to be mistaken for a boy it gives me a hermaphrodite look, if I was a boy I would tell "I´m a girl").

My Sis: No you don´t are a boy...

Me: But I seems a boy right 😕 ?

My Sis: Your face is to girly. It´s imposoble to mistake you with a boy even if you cut your hair.

Me: 😢

I never was mistaken with a boy ...

Even when people see my persona online on my art site and whatnot, I'm still often mistaken for an Asian male XD Contrary to popular belief though, I'm a Caucasian blonde XD (I can sit on my hair, lol). I think the reasons are because I'm rather bad at English at times (a native English speaker who's loosing her english) and I don't take too much time to look over it unless its in things like forums and actual writings. My chats get terrible. And, the other reason is probably because my tastes in things are more "boy-like." I'm a tomboy by nature...XD I love shounen with violence and dark and I'm a bit of a videogame addict.

So, it's one of those cases that even though not only is my persona a blonde female and the fact that my current ID on DeviantArt sports my picture, people have a tendency to look at personality over things like that when it's through an online medium.

Now, in real life...I've never been mistaken as a boy XD My older sister has though (that was a great laugh! Our first Otakon the year L'arcenCiel was there), and when I was in Japan last summer...I got mistaken for a cosplayer..XD
