I'll go as far to bet money on it!! lol... a harem-type manga/anime with a clear-cut end and a defined couple's relationship... that is MADNESS!!

There are quite a few Harem type with clear cut endings. An example would be one of the most classic harem ever, Love Hina. I think everyone who likes the genre knows and have read this classic, if not, go read it! Akamatsu Ken did drag the story a little, but it's one of my favorites of all times and with a nice and clear ending.

But, what does that has to do with ToLoveRu, err, well, nothing 😛 just adding my two cents to this million bucks of unsatisfactory manga.

Honestly though, I'm really wanting some character development right about...now. I couldn't care if it went on for another 200-odd chapters, as long as we get to know something about each character that makes this manga really unique. I've been patrolling (I like that word ^^) around the OneManga forums, and it seems like a lot of people there are sick of it (at least, the ones who were reading Double Arts, anyways), and would rather see it end sooner than later. But, then you end up with a half-assed ending, with no real closure.

As for my thoughts on what the ending should be...or rather, how the plot should continue...Mikan should die (not needs to, just for story elements), due to some sort of freak accident, and Rito, not knowing what to do, should ask for the planet to be destroyed, while still letting all of those that surround him live. Then, it shows all of the females trying to bring him back via various means, (e.g. clones, robots, strange devices), but no matter how much it looks like him, you just really can't replace the sort of personality and quirks that he had, and thus, they abandon the project. After that, it shows both Rito and Mikan (who were supposed to be dead) on some distant planet, just waking up in the middle of an abandoned street, in an abandoned city.

Game over. Would you like to continue?

(This, of course, would never happen, because it's too lighthearted to go all heavy on us and stuff, but it's worth just saying.)
