Ya come to think of it thats it, bcause Ty Lee says she and the other girls bonded while in prison... hmmm... still I would have liked a little more story into that... but hey what are ya gonna do about it, it was a good ending.
@ Green Tea... wow u dont like Aang or the Fire lord??
I admit an ending where Aang dies would have been a cool one but not cause I dont like aang...
Yes, an ending with Aang's death would've been cool. And I meant that I hated Aang and Katara. But I also hated the fire lord at the end because he looked so pathetic and stupid after all that trash talk. 😐

I thought it was hilarious. All this tlak and in the end he's left a miserable shell of a man. The best part was when Suki went up to him and thought he was dead. Then all of a sudden he looks at her and says "I'm still alive!" I was cracking up right there. I was seriously laughing.
Sarcasm just doesn't work over the internet.

😢 Soka lost his space sword.
He is, by far, my favorite character. Teh pwnz0rz, if you will.
And with teh cliff hanger... Avatar Z?
Oh, and side note: I love American animation for separate reasons than Japanese animation. The strong point of Japanese animation focuses on the overall aesthetics and beauty of a particular shot, and American animation focuses and builds upon movement.

Japanese animation focuses on details,
IE: Characters often take there shoes off and place them aside, those things are rare in American cartoons.
American animation focuses on the moment.
IE if a rock is gonna explode in an amrican Cartoon you can always tell cause its color will be slightly different.

You can see that in older japanese animation as well.
It's because the rock is part of the cel and the rest of the landscape is backround art.
Like I said, aesthetics. In which the detail of a particular sequence/shot/cel is emphasized over the movement of the scene. Watch some older and lower budget Anime. The characters are very static, and when they are moving, the background is moving and the actual character is static, or moving very minutely. Happens a lot in Kenshin.
I've actually taken college classes on animation. It has nothing to do with something as trivial as the removal of shoes and color deviation. The former deals with culture and the latter deals with animation techniques. There are several DB episodes where color deviation occurs: it comes from the old style of animation.
Unfortunately, most American animation production companies have switched to digital and computer based animation, even if it's not 3D CG. I've worked with a few of the programs they use, and while they are excellent tools, they take away from the craft itself.

The only parts that were kinda lame were the awkward romance sequences between the various characters.

Well i thought that it was okay. I loved how Azula became psycho it just made my day and it was portrayed so well and the voice actor was great. I still want to know what happened to zuko's mom cuz they don't say anything about it. Overall expected ending because we all know nick isn't going to show any death.

Yea the end didn't make sense, I thought Zuko was the Fire Lord, so why is he serving tea in his Uncle's shop in the Earth kingdom when he has an entire nation to rule? Well we know one thing... sequel!

I was expecting more from the ending because they pulled off the biggest asspull I've ever seen with that huge lion turtle coming out of nowhere to teach Aang soulbending. How convenient of it. 🙄

I was thinking the same thing, cause that bloodbending would've been used WAY better if it was on a more mature channel (like moving all of the blood in one's body to their heart and making it explode).
Other than that, I enjoyed Avatar. It was a real refreshing getaway from all of the mediocre American TV shows and anime that people think are good. 🙄 I even have all 3 seasons on my external hard drive.
