i dont think theres a post for this so did anybody see it? i liked it ended in a happy endin but it felt weak to me i thought im fine if you drag it out a little more with more details

see i thought it was gonna end differently....like it woulda been awsome if the acatar's soul was currupted when he was taking away the "phenix king's powers"...would have been an awsome concept to have an evil avatar. and i thought that the water bending girl should have died...that way anng would have blamed Zuko and let rage consume him...muhuhahaha....ha....i still think the ending was good tho....stilll hoping for a [ Book 4 :air ] 😀 😁 😀 😁 😀 😁 😀 😁 😀 😁 😀 😁 😀 😁 😀 😁 😀 😁

i'm also hoping to see book 4..but i don't see it happening. i researched (yes i'm that much of a fan) and they said that was the ending but they're going to release three live-action films (i hope they get decent actors...i hope they don't ruin it for me Y-Y). anyway i was satisfied until zuko said "where's my mother" and i was like.... 😲 what a cliffhanger 🤨 all in all it was a great show (not an anime, but still great) and probably the only cartoon made in america that i actually watch

whats the big deal about calling it an anime...i don't get it...to be honest it was as funny and entertaining as most anime i've watched...and that probly because the jokes didn't need a whole txt at the top to elaborate that "you won't get this pun" and tho it was childish it had it's adult moments....lets b honest with ourselves...if it's not 3d and not live action it's a bloody cartoon...a rose by anyother name would smell as sweet...ne ways besides that...M. NIGHT SHAM....ALON is directing the movie...i duno wtf they were thinking....but who knows...could b interesting to see how bad he messes this up

i'm not against shows that aren't anime, i'm just saying that most american cartoons suck...well except for this one (and i am american just to let you guys know). i'm really sad that this show had to end, it was the only cartoon i looked forward to watching...all the cartoons i like always last for a couple of seasons T~T

Yes, I watch it and love it. The end was good, but i really wanted Aang too kill the king with that spear of elements he made 😢 , damn Nickelodeon >:-(

i liked the ending, seemed fitting end with the whole pacifism angle. the azula/zuko/katara was espcially cool, only honestly had a few really minor complaints, and im a complainer(wanted a tokka ending 😢 )

anyone else think iron man fire lord came a bit out of nowhere? also metal toph was awesome

It was alright.
I would've been lovin' it if there was a Zutara ending, but you don't always get what you want. xD

I liked the aangtara ending it was cute. 🙄 but if it doesn't continue then the whole thing was a let down because wth is the point of having a cliffhanger like that and then make it into a freaking live action movie. it better have some crouching tiger hidden dragon action in this because all in all it will suck. 😔

That's because Americans don't make old style animation anymore, and most of it is geared towards an audience under the age of 12.

There are several good toons out there. Just have to look.

I really liked avatar, unlike most shonen these days, it has real genuine characters. There are no extreme personalities or the cliche characters. Each of the characters are simple and to the point. The plot is at times predictable, but it explores a very very interesting world that makes you feel somewhat warm inside. The intended audience is very young, which is why some disappointments could occur over what could have happened in the show.

The part I like the most about avatar is that all the characters are very down to Earth and understandable, none like the insane or almost immaculately perfect characters we get in japanese media at times.

i liked how the show was written. besides funny/etc, it could have been "fireguy evil must good win," but dealt with his fear of killing and living up to everyone elses idea of what he had to do. appeals to alot of ages

(why nick was so loose with it, stuff like spongebob is a clear 12-under money maker why avatar-ish stuff appealed too much to an older audieance)

Same here. I was rooting for Katara x Zukko all the way. I don't like May.

Anyway, I kinda expected a bit better from the ending. I mean I did love Avatar, and it was probably one of the best American cartoons I had ever seen but the ending just kinda went down the happy cliche road, everyone kinda gets coupled up... But I suppose it had to end this way, considering that it is broadcast on Nick.

I was kinda hoping for Aang to actually kill the Phoenix King. Or at least to kill both himself and the Phoenix King.. That'd be a pretty epic ending, anything but just taking away his bending skill..

i liked Aang's avatar state near the ending 🙂 it was cool. i think the ending was good... this type of show would be good dragged out a bit more. like now that the world is good, Aang will make tons of children to reproduce all of those dead air benders 🙂
