The art for the recent Ichigo is a lot nicer, but I guess I'd have to go with his past self. He doesn't take sh*t from anyone. Lol.

I don' think the current art is better, while there are improvements, the overall look seems more distorted

I do not read Bleach, lol and the new Ichigo in Doc's demonstration makes me laugh harder

Well.. the way you wrote descriptions under the images, i guess it's obvious to go for the old self.. with the all "don't take shit" stuff..

But even without that, i would've voter for the "old" Ichigo, just because he somehow was impressive and had this sort of aura.. don't know how to really explain, except maybe charisma or smth..))

p.s. a couple of weeks ago i even watched some of the first ep's of Bleach.. the first ep is till awesome)) at least for me)

I always preferred the older design.

I prefer the art of the recent Ichigo but the old Ichigo is way better than the recent one.
He would kick Aizen ass and destroy everyone who wants to deal with him. 😀

No such thing as fighting fair when lives are in stake, especially your own! This is character development gone wrong. Yeah, he has values now but what good are those if he just ups and quits at every battle or just cries through his victories?

What's this about the art? Thought the point of this thread was about Ichigo's character development? But yeah, I like the old art too. @_@

Old Ichigo by a mile. He slowly but surely became a generic shounen protagonist after the Soul Society arc.
