Looking for a yaoi...

Sorry if this is in the wrong place or if I've labelled it wrong but this is my first post ever in a forum and therefore have little to no knowledge of the formalities.
So, as the title says I'm looking for a yaoi but I can't remember the name of it.
All I remember is that it involves a police officer who usually gets requests to find things (like cats and dogs). He has a childhood friend who used to look after him when they were small but things changed. Anyway, he meets his friend who usually delivers noodles to him (he works in a restaurant because he can't get employment anywhere else because he went to prison - I think?).
That's all I can remember from the story and even then I'm not sure if the story is the main or if it is an extra but I really liked the story and was wondering if anyone know's what I'm talking about. I mean I've searched for hours now but have had no luck yet.
Again, I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section (feel free to tell me off or remove it) but can anyone spare some time to help me find it? Thank you.

New York New York? This is probably not it. I never read it but it's the only slice of life meets police officer that I can think of. From what I've read about it, it's a dark, psychological kind of thing... If that's not what you are looking for, maybe you can still find the one in the recommendations section, since they both deal with policemen... sorry, can't be of much help ._.

Of the player and the craftsman,
Of the writer of songs, of the creator of love,
Of those who will follow, of those who led,
There's no other way in the world ahead ♥

Don't worry, you're in the right place 😛
I know I've read something that sounds like this a while back, I'll keep looking 🙂

Thank you for replying but unfortunately that's not the one.
Honestly I've been all over this website searching for it but I still don't want to give up just yet.
Again, thank you for taking the time to reply. (^_^)

I honestly don't know how to thank you but I really do appreciate the help.
I don't want to trouble you too much though. But I really am thankful that people are so helpful here.

it's a side story Unbreakable bone in Nee, Sensei?
if there is an option between "to do" and "not to do", I will always choose the latter.

Good grief... your amazing. I don't really know how to express my gratitude. I'm really thankful to the people who took their time to reply to my post.
But it is definitely that manga. I don't know how I didn't find it sooner but it never showed up in my search. Thank you very much Nyajinsky (sorry for being so casual with your name).
Elvalight, the very fact that you bothered to reply to my post is enough, so don't be too disappointed. I will indeed try and post more although forums have always confused me but also because of how close people usually are, I feel as almost as though I'm intruding on the community. Again, thank you for your help. (^_^)
