Yahoo mess here, not that I'd have a choice, but absolutely everyone here uses it...and I only know one person who uses MSN so using another program would be pretty much useless, now that YM also has compatibility with MSN, and I like it cause it's not too terribly hard on the system, I keep it open all the time I'm on the comp.
It has a lot of nifty functions too 😎

I use AIM and MSN Messenger, I'm more on MSN though. I should research into what this "skype" is...

Using Pidgin at the moment (a linux based messenger) but pidgin lets you sign into all the other types of messenger in one go... a bit like trillian.

The actual one i log into is an MSN though.

Gmail for me. Used to use AIM like everyone else on the planet but I got tired of so many strangers sending me dirty IMs.

I have an ICQ that I don't use... I use QIP, which is basically the same, but not as fancy and pretty...

Yep. Down towards the bottom where it says "messenger for the web."

I used to use msn only, but that stopped. There are people on there I would like to avoid. 😐
