Hi,

I was just thinking how nice it would be if we could add a list of our favorite or/and least favorite mangaka in My Lists. Like that I could easily find my favorite mangaka (got a lot) and see if they have new releases, etc.

Right now I can only put mangas in My lists, but then once read and in my completed list my favorite mangaka are mixed with others. Having a place were I could have a list of my favorite mangaka would be just great.

Strongly seconded. Unfortunately most suggestions are in the form of single posts with no replies so it's difficult to accurately pick out the most popular suggestions.

Totally in favor of this, have been making do for years by keeping a huge list in my bookmarks, would love to have it here "at home".

This is, without a doubt, the most popular suggestion in the history of MU. How do I know this? Let me count the ways:

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30. (And I didn't even include your previous topic!)

There are also some users who specifically prefer the idea of blacklisting/filtering out their least favorite mangaka (glass half empty types?):

1, 2, 3, 4, 5.

One person suggested adding the ability to search by mangaka to the advanced genre search, which would be handy, particularly for fans of older, more prolific authors...

Finally, chulian1819 created a work around years ago, but that seems to be dead.

Happy to see that this is still being talked about! Crossing my fingers that there will be a way to do this someday soon.

I've been trying out ways to make it easier but right now I just have a list of mangaka's names on a document and i manually plug them into mangaupdates' search bar one by one every three months or so.
