Mine too. I absolutely love it. Cried quite a lot. It's a shame it wasn't on this list otherwise I would have totally voted for it.
The only other one I've liked so far was S so I voted for it.

Same. Hako no Naka was one of the best novels I read, not even just within yaoi categories. it is so thoughtful.

Until now I have read following yaoi light novels:

  • A Promise of Romance
  • Desire
  • Better Than a Dream
  • Body Language
  • Secret Moon
  • All You Need is Love (volume 1)
  • Hako no Naka
  • Utsukushii Koto
  • Sweet Admiration
  • Sleeping With Money
  • The Blind Concubine (Chinese)
  • Counterfeit Bride (Chinese)
  • 半路擒君 (Chinese)
  • Mo Flower (Chinese)
  • Please Don't Eat Me (Chinese)
  • Yeho (Korean, shorter Internet version)

"All you need is love" doesn't count because I read only 1 of of 3 volumes (but i wish i could finish the series someday). loved "S" very much. Probably I will never find another yaoi novel that I will enjoy so much."Secret Moon" and "Body Language" were pretty nice. 'Sleeping with money" and "Better Than a Dream" were ok. I had high expectations towards "Hako no Naka" which lead to my slight dissapontment in this novel. Utsukushii Koto is also somewhat worse than expected but still better than Hako no Naka, less ridiculous plot.
I didn't like the rest.

Someday I want to read "Ai no Kusabi", "Deadlock". (urgent).

Maybe I would read also "Love Water", "Eternal Love", "The Aristocrat and the Desert Prince", "Only The Ring Finger Knows", "Dark Walker" and "Passion".

I don't want to get involved with unfinished/ongoing series, unless work is unfinished due to author death (it can't be helped...).

And yet, Chinese novels. They give me completely different vibe and pace than Japanese ones. I enjoyed Counterfeit Bride as a fluff ball. Blind Concubine was quite interesting but the further story went the more flaws I saw. 半路擒君 was also enjoyable in similar way. And then, Mo Flower turned out to be unique.

About Korean novels... Yeho was good but my heart is crying since it's impossible to find full version anywhere.
