Piercings?

I find them disgusting. If someone has piercings on their face, I will avoid even looking at that person. I can tolerate one piercing per earlobe on girls, just because they are so common that I'm desensitized to them, but if I see a girl with unpierced ears, I'm much more likely to want to get to know her.

Wow O.o
Any particular reason behind that phobia?
Why do you find them so gross?

Huh. "Weird" or "unappealing" doesn't surprise me - my mom cringes at the thought of "poking holes in your ears" - but "disgusting" does.
As for the pain involved, it varies depending on the person. None of my ear piercings have been very painful; if they'd hurt very much I wouldn't have kept getting them done. In high school a friend got her ears pierced for the first time & it was very painful for her - I'm pretty sure she never got it done again.
I know nothing about the pain involved in facial & other piercings.

I don't like piercing. I don't find them disgusting but they're not cute nor appealing for me. I have friend who have piercings, and when they got them my first reaction was "uhhh", after that it passed. People can do what they want after all.
As for me, my mom had my ear pierced when I was small (like 1 and a half year old). One in each earlobe and she wish me to keep them, so I have really small, simple earrings. I'll probably never change them because gold, silver and other metals makes me bleed when constantly in my ears (and eczema when constantly on my skin), only white gold seems to be okay.

It's not really a phobia since there's no fear involved, but I have always aesthetically preferred the natural look. Any kind of noticeable body modifications are unappealing to me (including makeup and nail polish), and the more dramatic the body modifications are, the stronger the feelings of dislike they create.
It's also worth mentioning that because this only applies to noticeable body modifications, clear nail polish, subtle makeup, and tattoos/piercings covered by clothing don't count. Since facial piercings are both extreme in nature and very noticeable in placement, they generate feelings of disgust whereas heavy or colorful makeup would just generate feelings of disinterest.
On a practical note, it's easier to stroke a girl's earlobes if they are unpierced.

It may make you look more attractive, but 'cute' I don't think so.. I guess it depends on what you define as cute but to me piercings don't really give off that kind of feeling.. and of course there is a limit to the amount you should have, 'cause too much of anything is never good.

i think piercings are ok i even got one on my 7 or 8 birthday (ear) only to lose it 3 months later. I just don't like it when they cover so much of the face that it draws my attention to it when they talk. But i really hate eyebrow piercings they just don't look natural (not that metal in your face is)
(oh and wouldn't it suck to work with magnets all day when you face is full of piercings 🤣 )

I absolutely love piercings(and also tattoos, nail polish etc). the only thing that I don't like is belly putton piercings..I don't know why but it's always looked stupid to me. I only have two piercing on both ears at the moment myself but I especially like piercings on the face. But do notice that I'm a bit of a freak so I love and get attracted to everything that looks a bit wierd or different from the usual/normal just like it is with mangas/animes..the usual style/stories bore me but the stories that make me think "wtf" and have "odd" art I absolutely love. ^^ But don't mind me ppl I'm just a crazy lil girl with crazy lil mind 😀

What I think of piercings?
Well... I'm still strongly opposed to tongue piercings.
And for me, pierced ears are only as good as the earring.
Other than that, I don't find them especially attractive.
I don't mind others piercing or stretching or doing whatever.
I might not like it, but it's not my body.
And yet, the tongue bit distrubs me. Dunno why. I'm crazy like that. 🤣
As for the pain... I only had my ears pierced once, and it was done when I was about five or six.
I don't remember any strong pain.
And I've never been afraid of getting "poked". ;p

I find ear piercings aesthetically pleasing in many cases. Tongues, nipples, other parts don't really do it for me.
On a side note, I can't fathom how anyone could stand having a piece of metal in their tongue bumping around in their mouth all day.
