Question is simple, but I didn't see a poll for this, so I thought I'd see what people thought. Btw, I don't mean who should Negi pick right now, as he's only 10, but perhaps when he's aged 5 years or so, and he's no longer in a student-teacher relationship with the people in question.

I'm pretty sure the only 2 people that have a chance in this manga are Nodoka and Asuna, but even though I'm pretty sure Asuna is gunna win out in the end (depsite them having more of a brother-sister relationship), I'm still rooting for Nodoka.

Anyways, lets pretend for now that the other people actually have a chance.

Edit: Pretend I'm not an idiot and that the Nadoka in the polls is Nodoka.

This manga is kind of weird......It's a little kid with a bunch of high school girls.....or are they in middle school. Anyway....

Asuna and Nodoka are the obvious picks. But between the two, I can just see Nodoka eventually surrendering Negi, pulling a strong face, and crying her face off later 😔 That would suck, but submissive characters rarely seem to win in love triangles (right?), and the only other way is for Akumatsu to avoid/ignore the question or otherwise use some escape technique (like introducing a fourth person to break the love triangle/arrow), and that would be even worse.

Thinking creatively, if Akumatsu wanted to fix the ethics of this 10-year-old-boy and much-older-girls relationships, he could just have Negi continue his alternate reality training with Eva and Negi would soon catch up to Nodoka's age, at least body-age-wise.

that makes sense about the training him fast. personally id like to see nadoka, but odd's are itll be asuna

Kaede and Kotaro will probably have more of a master-student relationship. Kaede really strikes me as someone that's way to mature for someone like Kotaro... but you never know I guess.

I'd put my money more on Kugimiya Madoka or Chizuru Naba. Only cause he promised the first a date (and she's obviously attracted to his older form), and to the second cause she elicits embarassed reactions from him (but it's probably more of a mother-son kind of thing).

Hey, if this series runs long enough, Negi will be a full-fledged adult. Heck, they could have a multi-year time skip like at the end of Love Hina. Then everyone would be legal and ethical. Although it would still be awkward if Negi and whoever were "active" like Keitaro and Naru where at the end of that series.

Hmnm, didn't think to add Anya to the poll, but I guess that's cause we haven't seen her at all really in the manga. I think she has her appearance once at the very beginning, and then once during the tournament according to Wikipedia, but that's it. At the very least I can't recall any other meetings.

But once they bring her into the story, I might very well change my mind if there's actual chemistry.
