Then what tends to happen to those presents which are the useless trinkets that I just don't need are put somewhere and stored, ready to give out as presents. We usually use them as a last resort if we can't find anything, or as a little extra present to add on.

Thankfully though, I don't get many presents from my friends anymore. I don't think they should bother wasting their money on me. I can't see the point in exchanging gifts that both of us are never going to probably end up using. That's why I don't get people Christmas presents anymore, yet some of my friends still don't care and get me something. I tell them not to but they won't listen XD

When I find it like months later, I ease it into the garbage can that same day and pray no one ever ask about the gift.

accept it...i dun care i like or not the present...as long as it is given by someone to celebrate something of coz...so it worth it....

yeh i always accept it but i normally don't think to much about getting a present from the person in the future...

I just put them away and forget about them. When I find them months/years later, I usually just move 'em to another drawer or throw them out.

I know it seems harsh...but when someone gives me a gift I do not like, and a gift that I can not appreciate beyond "the thought," I give it back to them. A true gift comes from the heart, and I'll accept a piece of paper with a drawing on it rather than a sweater that's too small and had no thought other than "the thought." put into it. So yeah, I'm not afraid to reject it.

i usualy give it to my parents
and try to sell the books at used bookstores

give me the games i want or money
not shit i never gonna use

I usually, to be polite keep it in my bedroom for a month or so until whoever gave me the present has forgotten ever giving me it and then I slyly give it to charity, because honestly, someone might need it much more than I do 🙂

I still find christmas and birthday presents hidden in the back of my closet from 5 years ago. -_- It's not always that I don't like them either, I just... don't need them. I forget about things easily. I don't usually give them away, simply because I forget I have them after a week or so, but I don't care when someone else finds them and wants them. I say "take 'em, I don't use 'em." ^^

i tell people not to give me anything, but they still do, and i never like anything i get, which is why i dont want anything... i cant bring myself to appreciate anything 😐
