I put a few days. I recently lost the internet connection on my laptop, and I wanted to try and last a week or two, but after 3 days I felt like I was going insane. I love the internet, and it helps keep me sane. 🙂

I've gone two weeks without my computer. But I had my iPod Touch, and my Wi-Fi.
So, a week or two is my limit.

A few days. My internet connection went out for a few days and I was going crazy without it. I really need my internets.

Quote from Dragonfiremule

What about a toilet? I could live without electricity, but I don't think I'll ever be able to live comfortably without a toilet.

I could easily go in nature or in some kind of collection bag. The other two are somewhat more important.

I mean forever...there's so many things that have integreted internet access and computer type functions that a computer is pretty much just a formality.

During vacation I have to go without my computer for a week, and it was TORTURE.
A few days is probably my limit, after that I would be going to the library or finding places with internet and staying there for a long time.

I went through 1-2 months without touching a computer, it wasn't such a big deal.

With bills, work and school it's not a need, it's a requirement. You try not to use a computer when your job is computer techie, or when you study computer sciences or when the only way you've ever paid bills and managed your bank accounts is through the internet. Many things have to align for me to escape the computers.

Less than a day. i'm on my laptop everyday. All my lectures notes are online not to mention my music, facebook and manga. I also need the internet to look up scientific papers I need to read and catch up on any tv I miss. I do my banking, pay my phone bill and shop online. Without my laptop I'm so screwed. When I go on holiday I can usually get by if I have plenty to do but otherwise I'm always on my laptop. It's going to be even more essential to me come August when I move to Japan for a year making skype and email the best way to keep in touch with my family when I'm 6000 miles away. All I can say is Thank God for computers.

P.S My ipod and phone have no internet access (I'm living in the dark ages in tha respect) so my laptop is my only way to connect to the internet.

Well, I could probably last a few days, as long as I had a huge pile of addicting, amazing books. If the pile was big enough, I might last a week, but that's doubtful...

If I didn't need it for school, I could probably go for a few weeks. However, everyone I know contacts people through email nowadays, so no internet is worse than not having a phone.

That being said, I actually enjoy the times when I don't have computer access. Its refreshing and makes me get things done.

I could go without for a few months and withstand the boredom.

I could go forever, but as of now i am in school and have online, or at least partially online classes, so I'll say a week. I'd just read more and be alot more productive.
