I've never been a fan of live action adaptation (movie/jdrama) of sports/martial arts anime...just can't get past the special effects...

Why the need for live action anyway? I mean there are somethings that can't be reproduce by actors. I wish they would stop doing stuff like this to aggravate the fans. 😮

lol death note already has a live action from the jap and the americans want to copy and make their own version...so typical always stealing ideas...

Uh... Oh dear. I suppose that it was inevitable... every good animation. I'll go see this one for laughs. But since I've never heard of any of the actors or the director before (or I just live in my own little hole), I won't say anything.

I don't know, it seems like if the actors playing Sokka and Zuko switched roles and if the actress playing Katara got a tan or something then it'd look better (Though that might make people accuse them of doing blackface).

And my little brother said that the makeup for Zuko looks horrible. Like he got slapped hard in the face instead of getting burned. 🤣

if you got a big enough budget and some one who knows what there doing you would be surprised what you can do with CGI

I am kind of looking forward to seeing the live action version of this, i dont think they will differ too much from the actual plot since the cartoon isnt all that old to begin with and also its was made in america to begin with so its not like there would be too many cultural differences plus it has the support of nickelodeon and the original creators,

I can kinda see why they split it into 3 movies i kinda expected it, im not sure if it has been revealed what each move will pertain too but id assume it will follow the three "books" from the cartoon water, earth, and fire, by doing it this way i think it will flow much more smoothly than trying to stuff the whole plot into one movie and making it feel rushed
