So pretty much I was wondering what gives you chills down your spine? Is it a sound, a type of fabric, an image, etc.

For example my mom can't stand the feeling of velvet or microfiber. As soon as she touches it her whole hand spasms and she'll wipe her hands against her jeans just to get the feeling away.

For me, one thing that sends chills down my spine is the sound of silverware being clanked or scraped against each other...eeeeee...bad noise.

Watching people put contacts in bothers me. Eyeballs just aren't something I like to see touched. 🤢

Just imagining nails scratching at a chalk board gives me a mental scarring image and chills 🙁

And during med. class we saw this cyst being burst 🤢 I have nightmares of the pus coming out of it as well as blood.

This very same. I don't get spasms, but I hate silky stuff.

The sound of two pieces of metal scratching against each other; even thinking about it sends the shivers down my spine.

Touching styrofoam gives me chills also ripping cottonballs apart.

• Fingernails to chalkboard. I'm not talking about the sound of it. It's the sensation of your fingernails scratching the chalkboard.. D:

• twitching skin/body part. Utterly disgusts the crap out of me. Let it be the upper eyelid or twitching fingers or a fasciculation, that gives me the heebie-jeebies. Brr.

When knives and forks scrape the plate when eating, or anything that makes that sort of sound really. The high pitched screech that lasts just a second but makes such an impact.

When my toothbrush scrapes against the sensitive parts of my teeth 🤢 Just remembering the worse times that it's happened... 😔

When people (mostly my mom) use their fingernails on scratch cards. Not only the sensation, but then all that crud getting stuck underneath.

On a less physical note: walking into any sort of medical office. Just something in the atmosphere. Which made for a tough time when I worked at one a few summers back.
