http://i58.photobucket.com/albums/g268/ZinnKid/20.jpg Well, I'm sure you wouldn't regret that for the rest of you life. Lol, J/k. 😀 😀 😀
No kidding, you'd have to explain it to everyone you meet (rough first impression) and children would probably run screaming.
On the upside, you'd be idolized. FMA fans would bow to you and you could probably use your crazy look in movies. 🤣

I'm not scarred of needles, but i'm affraid of decision with no turning back.
Do you know how ugly a tatoo looks on the skin of a 70 year old? I don't want to look like that when i get old.haha, i know what you mean, but you only live once you know. If its something youd really love to get, its an easy decision. or you can just get drunk enough and the decision is really easy....
A friend of mine got his first tat a few months ago of marylyn manson's head hanging from a microphone cord on his arm. talk about something to regret.
The only problem with getting drunk and having it done, is that some places won't do it because the alcohol will thin your blood making you bleed more or easier or something. They just don't like doing it when you're drunk.
You sure it is not for the cause that a married man might wake up at the street and his chest says "Bachelor life forever."

It's worse if the tattoo is a woman's name and it's not the wife's.
I wouldn't mind getting a tattoo, but I doubt I would see something in anime/manga that I would like enough to permanently ink on my body. I'd rather design one myself.
I would tattoo my whole body if it wouldn't affect my life in society. 🙂

I got most of my tattoos over 10 years ago. I think they are still really sweet. That was the worst argument against tattoos I have ever heard. Halo sucks.
Life is tough......but it's tougher if you're stupid.

Like @vince, I got my tats quite a while ago, but I still want more. Once you have one, it's kinda addicting, like getting pierced.
The two I do have are Chinese kanji for Kindness and Love Life...except don't get kanji tats done by southern American dudes who have no idea how to write kanji. I can't say how embarrassed I was when some Wal-Mart worker (f*cker) laughed and said that the second one was Not what I thought it said.
I did get second opinions from two PhD's who worked in the lab I worked at - one who was Japanese and the other, Chinese. They both said that it was written in such an old style that almost no one would know what it said unless they studied ancient scripts. But still, I never once wore my hair up when I worked there...in Ming Han's lab. lol Almost everyone except us undergrads was asian.
Piercings are great though since they can all be removed. It also made breastfeeding easier, if you get my drift. lol 😉
And I forgot. I didn't know these people, but a grad student I worked with (in another lab) knew a dude with an ANBU tat. And also a chick with a red Ai tat...but she had no clue who Gaara was. It was just a coincidence. Actually, an ANBU tat sounds really cool to me. Hmmmm.

How does the 'crispness' of detailed work hold out over time? I think I heard somewhere that the ink slowly speads with time.
Do colors stay bright?
I don't have any tattoos right now.
I plan to get an alchemic array from FMA though.
It'll remind me of the principal of alchemy, to get something in life, you must first lose something.
It's a good lesson of life to remember.

Am I the only one that has Train's XIII tattoo below my left shoulder blade? 🙁
Black Cat isn't really what sparked the idea of that though, as I've been a bad luck magnet all my life and had been wanting one, but rather presented a cool design, and I must say I am satisfied with the way it turned out 😀

If I were to get a tattoo of something the represented a manga/anime, I think it would have to be the Strawhat crew's flag from One Piece. I would probably have that done somewhere on my arm, or maybe even covering my entire back.
