Anime/Manga inspired tattoos

I don't want getting a tattoo, and I hope that ear piercings aren't addictive. One in each ear is enough.
But dragons sound cool. but maybe I'd choose to have my the main character in my chinese name:

Nor really anime inspired, but Gaara has something similar to that on his forehead. And if you don't know, it has the same meaning in Chinese.

I personally don't like anime/manga tattoos. I prefer tattoos of nature and animals. I think realism, Americana, and stuff like that are also OK in my book, though.
And to those thinking of getting kanji tattoos, please do some research first or ask multiple people who are fluent in the language (and your language) to ensure correct translation before getting your tattoo done. 🙄 Hanzi Smatter anyone?
And since people seem to be sharing piercings... I have three in each ear (my fourth ones closed up) and my navel pierced, too.

The two I do have are Chinese kanji for Kindness and Love Life...except don't get kanji tats done by southern American dudes who have no idea how to write kanji. I can't say how embarrassed I was when some Wal-Mart worker (f*cker) laughed and said that the second one was Not what I thought it said.
LOL. I hate when that happens. I saw shirts in Wal-Mart with a Chinese character and an English word underneath. It said tranquility, when the word was 風 (wind)... basically different from Xeronia's
and thanks kurukuruyu for the site. haha I had fun for the past five minutes.

Wow. Stupid Americans need to check their Chinese/Kanji/whatever you want to call it. How can they mistake "fong" for "ning"? There are duplicate characters with the same meaning, but that's not one of them.

with the exception of being drunk, I dont see why people don't check to make sure the kanji they want is actually what they want before they get the tattoo. I mean this is the age of internet, really.

AGREED!
And some people actually brag to me about those (wrong) characters. Like... "I'm going to get this, because it means peace" and the word doesn't even exist!
Monkey bump~ (==O*-*)==O
Anybody got one (or two,or three)? No. O_O I have one, but not an anime one. O_o
Anybody been wanting one, but not old enuf or too scared of the needles? No thanks. If it's going to be anything related to anime it might as well be a character's name which also happens to be mine. XD
Know anyone who has one? Yes. My classmate has the naruto head band one, with a leaf on it. .___. So fail, so fail.
Any reasons for your pick? Erm..no? O_O

**Anybody got one (or two,or three)? **
I have one, but it's not anime/manga related.
Anybody been wanting one, but not old enuf or too scared of the needles?
I want at least 5 more, with the possibility of 1 of them being anime related, just don't have the money.
Know anyone who has one?
Not off-hand.
Any reasons for your pick?
They all have a special meaning, with the anime one being an exception, I just like it.
Anybody got one (or two,or three)?
I don't have any tattoos, I don't want to permanently mark my body.
Anybody been wanting one, but not old enuf or too scared of the needles?
I don't ever want to get one
Know anyone who has one?
Nope

I plan on getting a tattoo verrry soon, but still have no clue what to get. Though I really wanna get a small Homunculus from FMA on my wrist and a pair of steampunk wings on the other, but I'm not sure about them yet. I'm also thinking about a quote from "How's Moving Castle" (Book) or a picture from the movie
My sister has 2 tattoos on her wrist, and she said it doesn't hurttoo bad, so maybe I'll go for it.

when i first got into Vampire Knight, I used to think it would be cool to have the tattoo that Zero has on his neck. But I don't have any tattoos because 1) I hate pain (and a neck tattoo would be hella painful), and 2) I'm fickle. Like I used to be obsessed with Vampire Knight and now I no longer care about it.
Anybody got one (or two,or three)?
I do not.

Not an anime/manga one.
Know anyone who has one?
Not an anime or manga tattoo.
