Interesting/useful fact you learnt from mangas
There are some mangas dedicated to an art and you somehow consequentially learn about the art- which one was the one that made you go "Oh Wow! didnt know this- that's interesting"
Or sometimes, some information just dropped in and it struck a chord or made a mark on you...
In the first group, I would say some like bartender taught me about some unique cocktails and made me interested in drinks more- more the art of each cocktail- came to know that there is such a thing as Black beer and that long stemmed glasses are for ladies who dont want to tilt their necks to show their wrinkles.. 😀
In the second group, I guess something like Vivian Westwood 😀 ...heard of Tiffanys but not Vivian Westwood so much- yeah, I live in a well..
Things from japanese culture mainly. Then food related manga, like Yakitate Japan and Addicted to curry have some interesting stuff about food and ingredients 🤣

there are lot's of cooking stuff like mentioned above, but one that really sticks in my mind if FullMetal Alchemist. They had some chemistry stuff in there that i already knew, but was surprised to see in a manga/anime. usually the author is vague about stuff like that, but not this time. like the concept of equilibrium or the actual ingredients in a human body, and the convo ed was having with what's-his-face from usewell (mining town) in the anime. All actual facts.
so instead of studying for your next chem test, just watch FMA ^^

I learned a lot of stuff from japanese culture.
Also about Greek culture from Saint Seiya, also about food, chemistry...
The thing I like most about a manga It's the huge research the author makes!!! They never write false things!!
Looking for this!!!

it might sound bad, but in the first volume of Genshiken when kanji realizes to just accept himself as an otaku i was mindblown. led to alot of thought about not caring what people think, etc
