Its a bit disturbing and perhaps unfortunate to come across a news about a 13 year old who just had a child with his 15 year old girlfriend. But being an adult myself, was just wondering about teenagers' views on this subject since many if not most members here are teenagers.
I broach this topic not to project any bias in any respect but just to exchange views and spread some awareness .......what do you think?

I've heard of it too. And that's just wrong. Not because he's a kid or anything. But because he can barely take care of himself; how will he able to support another person then? A child should always be born in secure circumstances, and this isn't exactly one of them.

Been swimming on foorchons for aeons.

They are quite young.
Dunno how they can handle it,
since they are still growing themselves.
People aren't born parents.
They grow to be parents. It's not impossible
for them to be good parents even if they are
young, but since they are very young, they
most likely are struggling with themselves,
thus raising the child will most likely be hard on them.

People really need to think about their choices when they decide to have sex. Teenage parents, they have a lot of work not to mention being bothered by peers. What in the world happened to contraception anyways.

Wow. I would hate to be in there position. They'll have to deal with a lot as they grow older. Don't they have safe sex or abstinence teachings over there?

.... Huh... they're really young... I'm surprised he could father a child at 12 yrs old.

I think they are too optimistic in the article --- I have no confidence in those children raising an infant.

Agreed. I've read the other related articles and the little boy replies the way a 13 year old boy would, which isn't good. And those that are blaming the parents have nothing better to say. This is reality, kids only act upon what they've seen or heard. If someone that young can have sex what's stopping them from drinking and doing drugs.

I see what you mean by responding like a 13 year old would... He's really naive
"I know I'm young but I plan to be a good dad."
"I think we'll be good parents. I'll have to work extra hard at school."

His 'plan' is of no concequence. The fact of the matter is that he is neither mentally, psychologically, nor economically prepared to raise a child. He should give up on that pipe dream. The two children's partents (judging fromt the article, likely the girls') will be taking care of the infant.

Well to explicity anwser BambooSilly: While I am barely an adult (well legally; perhaps not psychologically) I think this is terrible.

Meh...
I don't support teenage pregnancies...but what they do is what they do. I have no right to criticize their choices (though stupid) about having a baby.
Well, I hope they get through it happily and the baby grows up normally. (If that's possible with such young parents who know nothing about raising a baby. It was a bit too optimistic in the article...and the parents are still young also, so most likely, it'll be their parents raising the kid.)

For some reason I'd be "Whatever" if it was the girl who was 13, but the BOY!? XD What kind of boy even LOSES his virginity at 13? I mean really! Let alone has a child.

Its kinda silly. Plus, he looks like he is 9. Obviously the girl is a pedo. Not to mention as ugly as hell... and bloated. ( Apparently she is the girl in the bottom right hand corner)

He was 12 at the time, actually, atleast when he got her pregnant, no telling his first time.

But...well...To be quite honest, i don't care, if he actually turns out to be a good parent, then more power to em, but, i can only see it ending badly.

True,so true... Where I live teen pregnancy seems to be a trend, most of my sempai from middle school(the pretty girls) appear to be pregnant, a girl who i was attracted to, also to be attracted to me( or it seemed) got pregnant and her child can't even walk yet, she still acts like any immature 16 yr. old. The one who really pay for their actions are the parents of the couple, all the couple does is babysit 'em and love 'em like a sibling not a child.

i feel sorry for the child to grow up in that kind of atmosphere. I mean his father is young enough to be his older brother. Im wouldn't even think of losing my virginity until im over 20
