As you can see, I just love HQ. I'll take lower quality, but only if it's for a project that only one group scanlating for it. I'm very loyal unless a new group that has excellent quality and releases faster (which is why I switched from BNC's scanlations for Id to Korean Manga Translations).

Subbers:
I don't really have a favorite subber, but I do like:
Shinsen-subs (bot packs are nice)
Mishicorp (hope they sub xxxHolic 2)

A few off the top of my head,

I usually go for whoever's out first, as well as who I've actually seen decent work from. For popular series I usually go for the chinese versions anyways since I can find those before the english versions, so the hordes of groups don't affect me much.

Scanlation group I frequently visit:
Franky House: speedy and good enough quality.
Korean Manga Translations: good quality and reliable releases.

Subbers:
Static-Subs & Eclipse
Shinsen-Subs (good and bad sometimes, kind of a lovae-hate relationship with their work right now...)

Probably more, but these I know have the quality I prefer and reliable to not have to wait for v2 or v3 all the time.

Kotonoha, MangaScreener, Manga-Sketchbook, The Hawks and Omanga for appealing to the older manga readers and mature tastes. And for the diversity of the manga themselves.
Can't really pick a Subber, 'cos I don't know any. 😛 I'm more a manga person really.

I don't really have a favorite scanslator since i feel if i'm picking a favorite scanslator i'm judging them from the projects they take and this might as well have been a favorite manga thread...for me that is... 🤣

I can remember posting in a topic the same as this before, but i can only find this thread, so I guess theres another one out there aswell somewhere.
