No!

I remember once, me and my BF and some of his friends went to cheak out a new job he wanted but he was really sick and I was fat and pregnant lol anyway when we was standing there talking to the boss he suddenly walked up to me and put his arms around me it was like all his weight on me the floor was super slippery and I'm small i couldn't hold his weight and both ended up falling (me on top of him because we went backwords) and I looked at his face and realized he had fainted and I started yelling it to everyone and they just looked at me like it was my fault which was pretty messed up...

I have fainted quite a few times, mostly recently.

Most times that it happened were my own fault and could have been easily avoided, I really need to make sure I eat more regularly, my weight is extremely low, so forgetting to eat can be dangerous. I'm just glad that people were there every time it has happened.

No on both accounts. (Haven't done it, haven't seen it.) Even when I got hit on the head with a hammer, I didn't faint. Go figure.

I got close three times, probably because I was dehydrated. It was actually usually followed by throwing up. @_@ The first time was when I was little and was grabbing huge chunks of firewood and throwing them up on the porch. One of them fell and crushed my thumb pretty badly. I went inside to whine about it, but then I went totally blind and started freaking out. I couldn't stand, so I fell to the floor, still minorly terrified. After a couple minutes (I was conscious the whole time) I was able to stand. Cue throwing up. The two other times were similar, and need no explanation.

I kind of want to pass out at least once, just to say I did, you know? I'd like to know what it's really like, so that I can describe it more effectively when writing. And stuff. Yeah.

Nope... Not yet anyone.

I remember one time I was almost late for my morning class... actually about only 2 weeks ago and I ran all the way there. By the time I made it to the hall, I was so dizzy and the janitor that was cleaning down the hall thought I was drunk or something. I had to stop walking or moving at all just to remember I had to go to class. XD

And when I finally made it to class, I literally collapsed in my chair and my vision was getting pretty dark and unfocused and I wasn't paying attention to anything happening around me, but eventually I felt better...

I guess running too long while you're currently underweight with anemia in 90 degree weather isn't a good idea.... 😐

Hunger.
I get the chills and turn all white from hunger. Then I start going weak and then see black holes. Guess that's a close encounter?

Sorta. Fainting is defined by losing consciousness, right? Then yes. Three times in my life, actually.

The first time was when I was around 7 or so, and I got really, really, really angry at my twin sister. I remember running over to her and picking up a binder (like a school one. The cardboard things.) as I did so, and then I blacked out. After that I don't remember anything until I came to. When I started to regain consciousness, I was realized I was hitting my sister on the head over and over and over and over with the binder, and she was crying and begging me to stop. Of course I did so when I realized what I was doing.

Then the other two times are pretty similar. Both are when I got really angry at my sister. I blacked out for both, and then whenever I came to I was always attacking her. I feel really bad, especially because now she is sort of terrified of me when I get angry (even if it's only slight anger, and not the black-out level), even though she's around 40 pounds heavier and 1/2 foot taller then me.

As for legit, falling-on-the-ground and blacking out fainting, I've done that too. I've never lost consciousness completely, like when I got angry, but I have fallen to the ground, and lost my sight/hearing at the same time. Once was when I dislocated my shoulder (I think I fainted from shock), and then the other time was when I stood up too fast (low blood pressure?).

I have fainted three times, though I only remember two times. It was when I was young.
My mom says the babysitter dropped me, and I hit my head, and I was around 3 months old. XD

The second time was when I was 7 years old, and I was pushed out of my dad's pick up truck by my little sister and little brother, it seems I also hit my head.

The third time was when I was 8 or 9, and I was riding the on back of a bicycle. Lol, there was a bump and I hit my tummy with the bike and feel instantly on the ground. Lol, my mom says I feel on a mud puddle, but I don't remember that. XD

I don't remember anything besides before fainting, and after fainting, in between for me feels like as if I was sleeping.

1 1/2 times? -- both occurred when I was ill and stupid for not eating/staying hydrated.

I say 1/2 because for my first time: I felt dizzy and lost control of my body -- blacked out right before knowing that I would fall as I walked out of the bathroom. I had just relieved myself (and supposedly, there's a high chance of fainting after urination if you're dehydrated because... well... you just eliminated liquid from your body). I still had audio during the whole ordeal, but my body just gave out along with my eyesight for a few seconds. I broke a wooden stand by hitting my head against it. Oops... and caused my aunt to shout as she witnessed the whole thing: "Oh Jesus!"

The second time (which counts for sure) was at the dinner table with my family. Didn't feel good all day, so I stayed in bed, not eating or drinking much fluids. As I sat at the dinner table, eating congee, I blacked out -- didn't see it coming at all. What felt like an hour turned out to be a minute? First to come back was audio (overhearing my dad talking to 911, requesting for paramedics to come)... then I felt drenched in cold sweat and realized that my mom was supporting my head. Stubborn as I was, I weakly said: "No... no paramedics. I'm fine." My sight came back after a long delay.

According to my mom, my eyes rolled to the back of my head as I fell off the chair. She caught my head but was freaking out at how my legs gave way like a marionette doll. It was really only a minute of unconsciousness (no audio. no visual).

I almost did once, I hadnt eaten the whole day and decided to get my ears pierced at a 6 gauge. Didn't really think about how thick the needle was going to be, I lost a decent amount of blood (it was all over my shirt) didn't feel it until I stood up. I didnt faint but my vision started going dark, broke out in a cold sweat and could hardly walk straight all due to drop of blood sugar. Needless to say I went to the nearest fast food place and felt tons better with food in me.

Psycho.

@topic: Nearly, I had my blood taken for tests. When it ended I sat on the chair and felt like I'm about to loose it, so I tilted my head downwards and said my mother that I'm gonna faint. She called the doctor, who told me to lie down and raise my legs. She gave me some drink with a lot of glucose and told me to bring a chocolate bar next time.
It's never happened before, maybe I didn't eat enough in the evening.

I fainted in the middle of a busy store yesterday. In the middle of the day. Embarrassing.

There were lots of people walking past before I blacked out...
My friend found me on the floor. Apparently I was totally out.
She had to drag me half alive out of the building once I was alert again.

Not a single person in that busy store offered to help either of us, including the employees.

Seriously, if you see someone lying on the floor, at least call for help. Don't just walk by, okay?

Never fainted. Hopefully, it'll stay that way.

But i did see someone faint. Was around 12 years old back then. Some guy was giving a speech in the Assembly Hall of our school when this classmate of mine standing right in front of me swayed a little before falling flat on her back right in front of me. I was too shocked so didn't even think about holding her when she was falling. I actually moved back so she could slam on the floor. It was my first experience and i was weirded out which is why i was so insensitive.

I'm sure if people around you were given a second chance, they'd help definitely. Sometimes people just don't know how to react in certain situations.

Two close encounters - both at times when I was sick with a terrible fever. I hadn't eaten anything for about 3 days straight, so it's no wonder that the moment I got out of bed and tried to walk around, everything went black, I broke out in cold sweat...and just made it to a chair in time before I collapsed. I never actually lost consciousness either time, though. At least I had enough sense left to say "I'm fine" to my mother 😀
