TES V: Skyrim

Well first and foremost, this game has practically taken over my life, lol. I've ran into a few bugs but the major one I had was a textural thing. I don't know if it's my computer or what, but every now and then my trees, mammoths, and metal armors would turn lavender. Restarting the game fixes it, but I don't think it should be doing that in the first place.

i only had 1 texture bug in 40 hours of gaming so no its not broken for me maybe your computer sucks
There are tons of confirmed bugs/glitches that occur on all platforms. If your computer's specs aren't great I can see it causing lag + stuff but other than that how good your computer is just has nothing to do with it. Sagaris seems to be talking about the glitches as a whole, not just graphical. Probably the ones that affect the ability to receive and complete quests and stuff like that. And that's definitely a problem with the game, not the computer/console used to play it.
Having said that, and while agreeing that there are tons of glitches, way too many really, I wouldn't describe the game as broken.

Does your patch fix the flying horses too?
Heaven forbid! I want to see a flying horse really bad...

It's the Esbern bug (assuming you mean Ratway Warrens), here's the fix... in case the latest official patch doesn't fix this.

It feels like a more detailed, rocky Oblivion but with a much crappier UI and PC implementation. I hope they finally release the creation kit so the modders can work their magic.

Glad the bug fixed the dragons not giving souls... not every single dragon did that to me, but I got 4 or so. XD So annoying! Glad they also fixed the inability to name my enchanted weapons.
Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?

No flying horse but have just encountered a directionally-challenged dragon near Darkwater Crossing... It was flying backwards (even breathing fire as it flew by backwards) and I couldn't even get close to it because it kept zooming about weirdly and shooting backwards when I ran towards it. I was chasing it around for over half a day in-game... in the end I tried sniping at it from a distance which got it down to half health but then it flew up really, really high and started having some sort of seizure in the air... so I gave up.
It was weird O_O. And quite funny at first, later frustrating... although I've already killed this dragon before when it could actually fly properly so it doesn't really matter. Just googled it and seems like the patch has glitched this dragon for others too, except they need to kill it for a quest so sucks to be them 😀

Sounds familiar, I've also had my share of dragons refusing to land, glitch against a mountain, get stuck behind a pillar/tree, or just simply gliding away (frozen animation).
With one dragon I even went as far as to open the console, enter "tcl" (no-clip) and fly to the dragon myself to kill it (because using "kill" is just cheating 😛 ).

First of all I seem to have tempted fate by laughing about the people who have a quest to kill the glitched dragon at Bonestrewn Crest in my last post, because I just picked up a bounty to kill it.
Secondly, I popped into Jorrvaskr just now and Aela the Huntress was there. She is meant to be dead. I documented the whole thing in my posts here, she was slain, I looted her corpse, I threw it behind some rocks... And now she's just walking round Jorrvaskr. She was a good companion and my previous posts have lamented her loss, but... seriously, Skyrim, she's meant to be dead O_O

Funny how pretty much every conversation about Skyrim turns into a comparison of glitches... And this might be the first game in a long while where I actually don't mind them, maybe even be sad when/if some of them are gone.

Yeah, I hope nobody thinks I'm complaining when I keep bringing up bugs... because I love this game to death and some of the glitches are v. funny/useful. Although the game-breaking ones really should be fixed.
I'm just wondering what everyone's favorite quest line is so far? Thieves Guild, Dark Brotherhood, Companions, etc.? The only ones I've finished are Companions and Thieves Guild (just now). Companions was underwhelming (though I liked the werewolf aspect) but the Thieves Guild questline was pretty good imo. Going to start at the Dark Brotherhood next and hoping for big things...

Dark brotherhood quest line is my favourite thus far.
And being a werewolf has nearly no drawbacks in this game.

Can you get the soul of that first dragon you kill and get the 'shout' from?
I play thru Steam and have had to reinstall twice - I thought I would lose my saves but I didn't.
Anyone else have that problem?
Also the cut scene with your toon when you make the kill knocks me out 😛 Never seen that before.
