It's much more dangerous to fall backwards. Sure, if you only lose your balance a little and fall on your butt it's no big deal, but if you get tackled or something like that and fall on your back... you lose your breath, not to mention you can hurt the back of your head.
I play association football and there I prefer falling forward. :')

Forward, just seems easier to catch myself & not get seriously hurt.
I've fallen forward while running on gravely cement; scraped up my knees & elbows and sprained a wrist.
I've fallen backward (stood up too fast & passed out) and given myself a mild concussion.
Don't think I've really fallen sideways, maybe I automatically turn so I fall forward...? 😕

i wanna fall forward at least ill know whats happening
one time when i was like 8 i dragged a x-mas tree home so i tied the tree to my stomach but i saw my mom on the other side so i crossed the road at full speed. but sadly the tree got caught behind a streetlightpole and next thing i know i was flat on my back and i think i might have cracked the concrete with my skull.
so yeah forward

I'd rather fall to my right side. I guess cause I'm more used to it. Whenever I fall to the front, I always skin my hands or worse. I'd rather spread the impact across my arm.

GAH! My plot doesn't bend that way!
i would pick forward so i can catch myself with my hands [and possibly do a push-up.lol.]

I usually fall sideways ((has no spacial awareness))
But given the choice, it doesn't matter. I have training in recovering from falls (dancing and martial arts come in quite handy at unexpected moments).

But what if you hit your head real hard? D:

whichever way will allow me to get the most laughs when telling friends about it later; usually, that means a complete nose-dive or falling backwards and landin head-first.

sidewards, but sadly, I always fall forward or backwards, and forward is the most embarrassing.I always fall flat out on my nose.
and when I fall backwards, i can assure you, my back and my butt hurt like hell.

Forward, seeing as I wouldn't be able to see what's behind me if I fell backwards.
