So... What do you think happens after shoujo typical mangas? Meaning typical HS one where girl likes guy, he doesn't like her, there's no char development at all and in the end they end up together. End of story.

So you never really GET to see them together. Even their story before getting together showed the reader there was really nothing special.

My view? I think they eventually break up. ;D Majority of them anyways. -.- Like hell I'm supposed to think they'll live happily ever after.

Yep, I agree~ xD 70% of them will break up~ The girls are too paranoid/whiny, and the guys too aloof/dense. Won't work. 😛

They might break up in Josei though.

Yes in josei, something angsty might happen like him cheating on her, or her/him dying in an accident (similar to Rumble Hearts) or lying in a coma. Something that will bring a sequel to the story.

I think the OP was talking about applying those Shoujo story lines to real life? Not really what would happen if the Shoujo continued.

I forgot the name. In the middle of story, not long after lead female marry (and have kids) with the one who really love her most (there's two guy), she became a widow (her husband died in war i think...or not). After the kids grown, she met again with the other guy and old love spark again.
