Quote from ares6

no one is scaning it......damn....

Huh? I''s finished years ago. I just d/l'd the whole thing from #lurk last week. #mangaproject scanslated it a few years ago.

That said, Katsura's strong point on this one is his artistic ability. I found the plot (and the lead character) predictable and annoying. If you like this art style, do yourself a favor and read Video Girl Ai (same mangaka), which has a much better plot and characters.

Oh, and it's a shounen romance, not a shoujo romance. Fanservice is not a shoujo thing.

I hate Fanservice too. Ok, I stopped looking for patho because I realize what Oliver Twist really is....a sad little boy with all the pathos and comedy in the world.

Well, Ayumu from "Life" is probably one of the most frustratingly pitiable leads in manga, but I'm not sure it that's what you're looking for. >.>

you're looking for a shoujo with pathos? then you should read Hoshi no Koe. it really captures the human heart. and an added bonus (to me at least)--it's got angst and sorrow, but no trace of cynicism whatsoever. you can see it celebrates love--and hope, even when things are looking so impossible. It's got great art, and a very subtle, yet moving dialogue. you'll love it. 🙂

PS: if it were a film, i'd classify it as indi... coz its not a commercial, mainstream manga at all, in my opinion. it's pure art.

they're created before the creation of an "i'm looking for" section

you really don't need to move the older threads when their appropriate sections weren't made back then....anyway, it's been more than a year since anyone took any notice to this thread....

"shoujo with pathos" sounds incredibly awkward, especially when "shoujo" is a japanese word and "pathos" is a greek word with latin roots o_O...anyway, a good manga that let you sympathize with the characters would be Saver or Hoshi no Koe 😎
