Story from my teacher's past experience teaching.
So, my Science teacher is an easy guy, he has this rule that whenever he chew gum, students "can" chew them too. But when the students are out of his class and back to their homeroom class, he doesn't take responsibility since they're out of his supervising. So there is this EPD guy [i think i spelled it right] and it means that he lived in a foreign country which English was second language and not normally speak. So he isn't a good speller... But anyway my Science teacher said specifically to spit out the gum when the gum-chewers leave.
This EPD kid's (his name is Gavin) home room teacher is a jerk. He's strict etc and when he is mad he let it all out on his students (>_> he was walking and i moved and he suddenly yell "MOVE!") So Gavin came back to his home-room with the gum in his mouth. His home-room teacher yelled at him like crazy and told him he has to write an essay 10 pages long about "Why chewing gum is bad"
Basically chewing gum is bad because it might stuck under a desk. It will make the desk dirty and will stuck to other things. The janitor might have to come and carve out the gum under the desk which might injure someone. And also, it is your desk and you don't want to touch the gum that is stuck to the desk. Etc etc and on with it..
But one thing.. he spelled desk wrong .. instead of d-e-s-k he wrote d-i-c-k. and no it wasn't intentional, he didn't know that it spell... THAT xD Replace everything i wrote up there to d-i-c-k from desk. xD
For 10 days straight his home-room teacher came from a strict teacher to a clown :]
