how do you tell a girl you are not really that interested without hurting her?
she just left her old boyfriend, and i think it had something to do with me.
so, internet, give me some advice...

Uhh, try to get intersted.
This is a good opportunity.
If she really is very bad, like annoying or boring,
and if she comes to you, you could
just say that you're not interested and
say that you are sorry.
It's not your fault after all. Life makes
one grow.

simply, its not possible cause it is the same old thing: confessing->being refused= unhappiness. There's no way someone can refuse without making the other suffer, in a way or the other.

The only thing you can do is telling her nicely, it will change her from "hes a bastard for treating me like this" to "anyway its my fault for having a onesided love"

Hey, internet forums are extremely useful. You get answers 99% of the time. Just that the answers don't help...

So you don't know for sure that she broke up with him because she is starting to like you? Could he of been a jerk and she was tired of him?

Anyway, if she makes a move for you to go out with her just be honest. Tell her that you like as a friend. She might get upset, but she'll get over it....unless she is the psycho-crazy stalker type. 😲

yeah, honesty is always the best policy. you can not help you do not like her. You would her to be honest with you if the tables were reversed. 😀

well i know of a way but i dont think i would ever use it but who knows you might find it use full :

sadly i think thats the only way to do it without hurting the girl but not many guys are willing to go that far my self included.

or you can make it so she end up disliking you some how.

There is no easy way to tell her. If she really likes you it will hurt no matter how you tell her.
I believe the best thing you can do is be honest to her and not give her any false hopes. That way you put a stop on things before she becomes too attached.
And while I say be honest with her, at least try to find a nice way of saying what you feel, though there might not be one but at least let her know you are concerned about her feelings even if you can't return them.
