I'd eat a dog (I've heard somewhere that they're not bad, actually), but I just wouldn't eat my dog.

Dogs tend to be bigger. More meat.
Sagaris has more meat, right? So we should just eat him.

though i have a great love for the canine kind, i know for a fact, anatomically based, that dogs taste better than cats.
oh please do click this!
The sweeter the apple, the higher the branch. The quieter the fart, the nastier the smell.
GUESS WHO??
I wouldn't have the heart to kill a dog,
but if both were dead, I'd eat whichever
one is bigger or both assuming I am so hungry
that I have to eat stuff like that.
Don't be mistaken,
dogs are not necessarily bigger than cats.

Neither.
I know they eat them in some countries so if I were hungry enough I guess I might. BUT I'd have to be very VERY hungry - truly starving for at least a couple days with no possible way to get any other food in the immediate future.
Have you ever seen what they'll eat? There's a reason we eat animals that only eat grain or grass (herbivores) and not animals that eat meat (carnivores). Take pork for instance. If it's not fed grain, the pig eats all kinds of things that can end up in its meat and make it dangerous - even deadly - to human consumption if not fully cooked - cooked so that what's in it dies. However, the meat itself is tasty so we cook the meat well and we've learned to feed it grain so that it doesn't have as much of a chance to get the 'undesirables' in the meat. Besides, dog and cat must not be very tasty or we'd still be eating them: I'm sure many of our ancestors ate that meat so if the meat were any good, we'd still be eating it.

So are humans.

If you gave a choice - eat a dog or a cat - or any animal for that matter - or die, I'd die, and die happily.
There are times when you will miss what you never had. I wonder how you will find what you so desperately need.
