Do hot dogs count? Guess not. Still, I've had pet cats for my entire life, so dog

No, I don't eat any meat. Never have, hopefully never will. I don't condemn people just 'cuz they eat meat, though. That's their choice - I just can't stand it personally.

I'm sure meat tastes delicious, that's not what I have a problem with. I have a problem with the fact that the meat I'm supposed to eat came from a living being - one as sweet and cudly (under the right circummstances) as a newborn baby.
If butchering animals for satisfying our hunger, then I don't think you can say that eating humans for food is wrong either! That's just the pot calling the kettle black.

I think Mamsmilk may be right about the Disney movies.
A chicken is not a small feathered birdlike person. It's a bird. It runs on instinct. Calling it a person is just anthropomorphizing it.
If killing a person is the same as killing a chicken, is killing a person also the same as killing a cockroach? A germ?
I don't know about you, but my morality in killing things isn't based on cuteness. I find the idea of killing someone for being physically deformed unpalatable 🙁

I mean that they're "innocent" in the way that matters. If it was for survival, and they were given a chance to escape, they were given oppurtunities to save their lives, then it might be better. But we make them, rear them as cattle, just like we make laptops and things like that, just so that we can eat them!!!

I'm quoting someone's Sig here on MU that says: "For every animal you don't eat, I'm going to eat three"
come here cute cuddly innocent lamb, once the razor falls and you into a pot of oil, I'll be sleeping on my bloated belly thinking of how good you made me feel, inside my tummy. And tomorrow, I'm going to consume your cute little brother.
You understand nature works though birth, death, and consumption right? We aren't killing animals for fun, we are killing them to eat them. Ever saw lion king when his dad explain the circle of life? I will give you here:
Mufasa: Everything you see exists together in a delicate balance. As king, you need to understand that balance and respect all the creatures, from the crawling ant to the leaping antelope.
Simba: But dad, don't we eat the antelope?
Mufasa: Yes, Simba, but let me explain. When we die, our bodies become the grass, and the antelope eat the grass. And so we are all connnected in the great Circle of Life.

i heard dogs are really tasty actually.... not that i've ever tried, but thats what people tell me. Frog legs are good to, and some places eat maggots as a delicacy. It's really just personal preference. If all the vegans here were raised eating dogs and cats as they grew up theyd b like what the hell? you guys dont eat dog and cats? they're delicious... haha check out some of the psychology on that stuff, taste is a very much aquired throughout life.

Whichever tastes better. I'll try both though. I'd go with dogs first.
Well, wild animals eat cats and dogs, but i prefer cats 🤢
